On Saturday 7/17/22 I had the sad task to put my beloved Bennie to sleep. Dr.Iaquinto and the staff that morning were the most kind & compassionate people I could have ever hoped for, they made this day for me easier with their love & hugs for my loss and for giving me & Bennie so much time to say good-bye. I am forever grateful to them all.

Called and got an appointment the same day for my cat Lucy. She had an ear infection. It was my first time there and everyone was wonderful from the nurse to Dr. Ross. The place was clean and I liked that they had a separate entrance for dogs and cats.

This animal hospital exceeded our expectations. Our cat BOO wasn't acting himself so we brought him in for a checkup.. turns out, diabetes.. we were nervous and overwhelmed at the thought.. we went in for our instructions for care and it was incredible. They were so helpful guiding us through every step and answering every question. So patient and allowed us the time we needed. By the time we left we felt educated and relieved. What seemed to be a boulder ended up being a small rock. Highly recommend

Last night my dog started to have like a dry cough, but very frequent. He also got sick a few times throughout the night. This morning I called so many local vets, everyone seemed to be booked from like June on out. This to be was an emergency so I was taking my dog to an emergency visit at the animal hospital if I couldn’t find a vet with availability. I previously called 12 vets! I’m in new Egypt- finally saw the reviews and called vca animal hospital in Lakewood. They were so prompt. Regardless they were getting my big boy tonka in. I asked for an emergency with no hope of any actual visits available. To my surprise they had two opened appointments - I called around 1 and was in there by 4!!! That to me is a big factor- being available when needed ❤️ Then when I got there they brought us in , weighed and was brought right in the room. The girl who brought us in was the vet tech and started getting info right away. Within minutes after the vet walked in with a clear picture and ready to examine my tonka boy! They didn’t rush his appointment at all, everyone I saw and dealt with was more than kind and welcoming. I honestly cannot say enough good things from our visit today. I now plan to continue to go to this vet. They checked the most important things. Heart, lungs, temp, respiratory, skin, gums and so much more. They didn’t pressure me to instantly jump to X-rays or start a jungle of craziness. They felt he was well and looked great and prescribed us medicine that they provided there. Everything was such a smooth transaction. I appreciate this process so much. No under cover let’s raise every bill possible! No rush, just genuinely caring for the animals that come in. They even told me to call if it’s not better within 3 days and we’ll continue other routes if necessary. I just felt like I had to come on here and leave my review… because I know when I’m looking for a new vet I need some confirmation on where I’m taking my doggy’s 💙 So thank you again to the vets, techs and Receptionist- with all of your work and knowledge I feel so much more at ease. Definitely my new place for all 3 of my dogs! 💙💙💙💙

Everyone that works there is polite,competent and helpful. Dr. Warren E. Briggs was professional,efficient and not out to get every penny he can from you. I have brought my animals here decades ago and recommended them.

The staff are extremely sweet, caring and they all work together. Quick to answer the phone, made a same day appointment and were open during a snow day when many animal vets were not. I've only brought my dog there that one time for a bleeding nail but I will definitely come back when necessary again.

I brought my 9 year old Yorkie mix here for a dental cleaning and they were so nice and answered every question I had thoroughly. It's always nerve-racking when your baby has to go under anesthesia but the vet explained the procedure and said my dog was in the lowest risk category based on his health history which made me feel so much better. I only wish they didn't have to shave his front leg for the IV 😂 overall a great experience, will be bringing him here for yearly cleanings

I brought my cat Gino in for urinary issues this week. The care we received from Dr Crawford was amazing. Just a few weeks ago my cat was there also for digestive issues. Dr Weiner was equally amazing. This isn’t the first time I have brought my cat in for an emergency visit. Each time he was handled with love and care from everyone there. Thank you to everyone there for the care you give my fur baby

Every staff member, from the doctors to the techs to the receptionists, were more than welcoming and extremely caring. They treated my bunny and her new babies like they were their very own furry family, and thankfully all checked out with them! Not to mention they see animals of all different species and breeds, like the chicken who was in the waiting room with us!

I had to get my cat spayed. The cost was reasonable and the care was excellent. I take my cat to one of the satellite offices for her everyday care but for surgery this office was amazing. The doctor explained everything and even called me after. I was able to pick up my cat after work even though I was working late that day. I was there around 7:30pm but they have staff in the office until 10pm! My cat is doing well and the office even called for a follow up the next day. I am very happy.
