We are down at our vacation home and our pup had an ear infection. My dog is an 80 pound pitbull that is dog reactive due to being attacked. As the waiting room filled with dogs they were kind enough to bring my dog through the back entrance so she could avail conflict. The vet and vet tech were amazing with my pup and treated her ear infection and she has finally settled in. They are amazing and worth the wait to see the docs.

First visit and was an absolute great experience. I immediately was assured that everything was okay with my 8 month old pup and I couldn’t be more grateful. The staff was very professional and catered to my pup right away! Wait was no longer than 5 minutes and I was informed of all the necessary information I needed to hear about my pup.

Highly recommend. They took our dog immediately after we arrived and began treating her right away. The staff is super kind. They collaborate with ASPCA poison control to stay up-to-date on the newest toxicology treatments and ascertain any specific data they might need to give animals the best care possible. Dr. Cromal is a wonderful doctor with 15 years of experience, and I'm confident my dog was in great hands with her. Dr. Cromal explained the whole treatment process to us, answered all of our questions thoroughly, and even managed to make us laugh despite how worried my family and I were. They returned our dog to us safe and healthy the next day, and continued to answer questions we called in to ask throughout her recovery process. Thank you to Dr. Cromal and her staff!

The doctor and staff are wonderful people. My 11 year old dog was put down the weekend before last and not only were they so sensitive and intentive to the situation, but they gave us ample time with our boy.. they even gave my husband a blanket to allow him one last snuggle session. They didn't pressure us to leave, they gave us space and were just.. so supportive. I also really appreciate how they went through the whole process with us, thoroughly, so we knew what to expect. My dog passed so peacefully in my arms, as I gave him his last kisses. I will truly never forget this experience. To the doctor and staff, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

My dog was very sick and I took her to the emergency vet. She is very hard to handle, but Dr. L. Cromal and Chrissy were amazing. They gave her a good examination, did blood work and were able to diagnose her even though my dog kept trying to bite them. I highly recommend this vet. service. They were wonderful.

We were so happy that our boy Duke was able to be treated for his emergency at their beautiful new office in Barnaget! Our own veterinary group was unable to see Duke after he stepped on a piece of glass and referred us to Jersey Shore. Dr. Heather Langley and her team are amazing! We are so grateful and pleased for the way they treated Duke that we are going to have Dr. Langley treat Duke going forward!! It is comforting to know that veterinary care is available 24/7 between this office and their Lakewood location. 😀

I’ve been here with my dog before and had a great experience with Dr. Laura. She was very compassionate and took the time to walk me through what my dog was going through (he walked through a tick nest). Fast forward a few months and my dog got sick with really awful diarrhea, vomiting and no appetite. He was treated with antibiotics and probiotics and sent us on our way. There was no change after about 5 days so we came back. There was a male doctor there who rushed me through my visit. He gave us more antibiotics and even said my dog “might be allergic to chicken” and we can “cross any scary things off the list.” He kept trying to leave the room and I felt like I had to chase him down to answer my questions. We even brought in a stool sample which later Garden State Vet Services said they should have sent it out for testing and it shouldn’t have been done there. My dog was suffering and he told me to wait another week and see if anything changes, when things already didn’t change. With no improvement, we went to Garden State Veterinary Services. Long story short, my dog passed away from lymphoma about 2 months after my visit at Jersey Shore. I am aware cancer is unpredictable, but I did not like how I was treated there or rushed out of the room when I knew something was going on. Just be sure to always get a second opinion if you don’t feel good about something. The loss I feel is unbearable, I miss my dog every second of the day.

Thank you Dr Laura C. for taking care of our beloved dog Savannah with such compassion and kindness. It was very difficult for our autistic son Isaiah to understand that sometimes is better to let go, but you explain to him so kindly that he understood the situation well. Now she is my sons guardian Angel. 🙏🏼 Thank you for the beautiful card.

My 10 year old Yorkie started struggling to breathe and was panting profusely. He has an underlying conditions that would cause heavy panting (Cushing’s Disease) so I tried to get him some exercise and walked him on the Asbury Park Boardwalk. When we got in the car his breathing sounded like goose honking and he was salivating terribly. I poured water on him and tried to get him to drink water but he wouldn’t. I rushed him to a local Emergency Vet and they treated him with a sedative shot, prescribed some additional medication and released him. The vet said he should be better in an hour. We went to my parents in Toms Rivet and Dolce, my Yorkie digressed. His breathing got worse, he was anxious, and his stomach was moving rapidly. My amazing Father found Jersey Shore Emergency Vet, called them and from the moment Jeanette picked up the phone things couldn’t have gone better. She calmly explained where they were, about 10 minutes from my parents house. We rushed Dolce in the car and on the way there, he started struggling to breathe more. His.tongue was turning blue and he essentially couldn’t get air. God Bless Mary at the front desk that realized the urgency of the situation and from the minute we walked through the door they rushed him into an oxygen kennel without even asking 1 question. After they medically responded so Dolce was more stable, Mary took her time and assisted me filling out the information data. Furthermore, the compassion and understanding was unprecedented, Rose, the extremely understating technician came up to let me know Dolce’s tongue was pink again and he wasn’t out of the woods however, doing better, She proceeded to get a full medical history and also made me feel hopeful. While waiting, Mike another caring, kind technician took pictures of Dolce while receiving oxygen to calm me. Finally Dr Fenwick came into the waiting room and gave me a detailed description of what was going on and how they were going to treat Dolce’s condition. He was so patient with me and knowledgeable, I can’t even put into words my gratefulness. They sent my Dad and me home while they continued oxygen treatment, x-rays and taking care of the situation for a few hours. Dr Fenwick personally called me at 11:30 to come pick up Dolce and when I arrived everyone was so genuinely happy that Dolce pulled through. He was experiencing a collapsing tracheae and saved my baby’s life. The care, compassion, humanity and every single person went above and beyond. I can’t even express my sincere thankfulness for everyone at Jersey Shore Emergency Vet, it was a game changer in my Dolce’s outcome.

We had to take our 13yr old yellow lab (Chase) to Jersey Shore Veterinarian Emergency Hospital suddenly last weekend due to him being unable to sit-up or walk. We understood he was failing and probably not much for a veterinarian to do so we were prepared for the worst. Dr. Fenwick agreed there wasn’t much he could do so we decided to have him peacefully put to sleep. Myself and my two adult kids stayed with Chase during the procedure. Everyone there was so respectful, sympathetic and caring it really helped us get through this difficult time. Special thanks to everyone there (Sophia, Jeanette, Abby, Jordan, Savannah and Dr. Fenwick). Sophia, our tech, was especially kind. She came out to check on Chase in the car while we were waiting to be seen and she was respectful and caring throughout it all.
