Staff is the definition of professional in every way. Front desk staff are friendly and very helpful among many other things. Nurses are experienced and very knowledgeable. They are very friendly and seem to have psychic abilities because their bedside manner is perfect before they have even seen you. The Drs are some of the best I've ever seen. I'm a general scientific literacy and skepticism advocate so I genuinely do follow this information very closely. It's crucial for me to know who does excellent work with science-based medicine so I can help educate people on doctors and other medical professionals and how to find them. I also need to educate people on quacks posing as legitimate doctors as well as commonly held beliefs that are actually dangerous myths. In other words, This place exceeds so many expectations. You can tell that everyone who works here genuinely cares about every patient they see and alway go with the most accurate and reliable information available. These are professionals through and through.

They recorded our insurance number incorrectly after our baby was born, I have called multiple times over the last year and a half to give the correct info but they consistently file the claim with the original incorrect insurance policy they have on file. We just received a bill saying there were chargebacks on claims from over a year ago so I called to make sure they had the correct info again and they said they won’t try to run the insurance since it has been more than a year, even though they just sent the bill. Their response was that I can coordinate with insurance myself or pay for everything out of pocket. It has been so frustrating to spend this much time trying to get them to update the info and they continue to use the wrong number and now expect us to pay thousands of dollars because it’s easier for them.

This office has been incredibly helpful and accommodating since I started going there. I have thought every person I’ve interacted with was friendly. Dr. Patel is amazing. She’s brilliant and has an excellent bedside manner. She spends ample time with me yet also is mostly on time! Not sure how she does it! It’s so convenient to have their lab right in the building as well. Thank you to everyone there! -Dr. Amanda Miller

They used to be great! Front office is miserable all the time. Once you get in the back to see a Doctor it's much better. Stay strong! Update!!! I have been trying to get a scan of a lump in my neck for well over 1 month now. They have submiited the WRONG codes 3 times to the imaging center. I cant schedule the appointment due to this incompetence. I refuse to call them back a fourth time.

I stopped by today because I had spoken to the staff in the building on the phone, and they do not explain things well and are always in a hurry to hang up. I thought I could get some clarity if I came in since I live very close by, but upon stopping in, I was met by a nurse there named Dawn who met me with an attitude, clapping her hands at me condescendingly as she spoke at me. The staff are rude and unhelpful, and I don’t understand where the nurse I spoke to learned her lack of manners from because it was not a good representation of the profession.

I called today to set up new patient appointments for my 3 boys as we just moved to the area. The receptionist who answered the phone was rude, sighed at me multiple times as if it was too much of a hassle to add people who were not part of the system, and snapped at me "I don't know either" when I told her I had taken one of my children to the urgent care in Flemington and wasn't sure if he might already be in the system. In response to "there are three of them?" I said yes, but they don't need to come all at once, to which she replied "yeah, that's never going to happen" I guess maybe they already have enough business and don't need any new patients, but if your being rude with me just setting up the appointments, what will it be like when we come in to the office? I'd rather drive back to Essex County where my doctors office was polite and respectful, I never thought I would have to say that after moving out here.

Went here for years and after they billed the wrong insurance for the fifth time in a row I decided to move on. I would explain every single time that they were billing my father's insurance that I hadn't been on for a good 15-20 years. I would fill out the paperwork, hand them MY insurance card to correct the issue again tell them what keeps happening, and nothing ever changed even after I had been with several different insurance companies during this time. Enough was enough. Nice people, but come on. I was sick of hearing, "Well that shouldn't be happening," and seeing no results.

moved to morris county but to make things easier i had my daughters physical here one last time before transferring, as i live 50min away now and id have to come in to sign release forms for them to be sent to the new office anyway . i went here all through my pregnancy and for some of my daughters well baby check ups. the supervising doctor from years ago came in to see how i was. asked about her father. i said we werent together anymore. he says oh? does he still see your daughter? yes on weekends, i say. oh ok thats good. thought it was just small talk catching up, as he was just sitting next to me in the chair, not taking notes. came to pick up paperwork for my daughters kindergarden registration today. saw on the paperwork that this supervisor wrote in his notes (after he left the room bc as i said, he wasnt at the computer typing in the exam room) under "problems" that her father and i were legally separated, that i lived in morristown (wrong. i said morris COUNTY)that the fsther sees her on weekends and he also lives in morristown (again, wrong) i even stated that his parents drove me there that day because they still live in hunterdon county. what is the point of this information being in their notes? i didnt know this was a psych session. my daughter is perfectly healthy and happy, as stated everywhere else in her physical, developing normally. had i not picked up the paperwork, this FALSE information would have been sent to the schooL. an amazing staff member, darlene, said shed delete it from the notes, as its not necessary for the school to have that information. i love the nurses and receptionists there, but this doctor has had a condescending attitude towards me since day 1. but hell smile to my face. if he wants to take notes on my personal life, atleast listen and get it right. completely out of line IMO. its not like there were any other factors that would cause worry regarding this situation. my blood wad boiling to say the least. again, if u want these in your notes, please get your facts right. im sorry i gave 1 star because the people who actually do the work there are great.

I have been a patient at Del Val for over 30 years. I have had issues with them calling in prescriptions in a timely matter, I also experienced a Hippa violation when they released my medical records to a family member that I did not consent to or approve. All of this being said, I have continued to go to Del Val because I believe that most of their physicians do care about their patients they are just so overwhelmed with the amount of patients they have in their care that they are sometimes negligent. However I recently found out I was pregnant and encountered such extreme neglect in so many aspects that I actually have grounds to bring up a lawsuit. I decided not to proceed for the health of my baby ( endured too much stress already). They (doctor and supervisor) refused to give me an order for an ultrasound (after they did 2 urine tests to determine i was pregnant) so I was forced to take my care to another office. After speaking with multiple doctors, it was made clear to me that I am just one of many people who have been neglected care by this medical center. The real kicker is that after I changed offices they were first saying that I never was there!!!! They claimed to have no records, later when I got the supervisor of hunterdon health HOSPITAL to call them and demand they produce the records (because I had proof I was there!) they then changed their story and tried to tell the supervisor, that they had my records but they had no way to print, fax or email them to her. She then had to take action against them to have the records sent. By the end of the day the records were mysteriously able to be faxed to the hospital supervisor. She then advised me not to use their care anymore. Which I had already decided not to do! I always gave Del Val the benefit of the doubt but after witnessing first hand such cruel behavior from the supervisor (Debra) at Delaware Valley Medical Center, I advise anyone and everyone- especially if your seeking prenatal care to go anywhere else but this place. An entire report to the state medical board is in the process of being sent.

Dr. Alexander Beck and his attending nurse Dawn’s kindness and care was apparent the moment I walked into the room. There was genuine interest, attentiveness and care. What was even more extraordinary was what took place after I left the office, they went above and beyond what had been the normal doctor visits for me. It was Immediately after I got back home that I received two unexpected phone calls from appointments I was suppose to have scheduled myself in which I may have procrastinated on or have never made. I told my friends about it and they were all as impressed as I was. But it didn’t stop there, two days later, Dr. Beck personally made follow up phone calls to deliver the results of my test!! It took me back to the days when my father would excuse himself for a bit and my siblings and I would hear him make phone calls to check up on his patients. None of us realized how much pride we felt for our father for the commitment and genuine care he had for his patients until we were adults. He too was a special and an exceptional physician. Thank you to the doctor and staff for a pleasant visit.
