It was great- went in for an oil change without an appointment and even though there were 2 appointments ahead of me it wasn't bad because I had time. The exact approximate time the man suggested was correct. An hour and a half and I used the time to go to Lowes and sit in a comfortable chair lol

Horrible! My appointment for a tpms check up was for 5:30 pm I waited to talk to one person who could help me for 27 mins and employees were just walking around with no care. Would go anywhere but here

I came to get Alignment, mechanic didn't verify the issue and the car came out the shop misaligned. Steering wheel is crooked to left and car pulls to right. And I didn't get a print out of alignment results to see before and after.

Poor customer service from the tire repair team. I waited 2 hours to get a nail removed. They got upset when I complained. If you have a local auto repair shop I advise you to use them instead of these big chain shops.

I came in for an oil change and it was taking much longer than expected, as in several hours longer. Thankfully, Manny was able to accommodate me and paid for my Lyft so I could wait at home instead of at the shop.

I really have to commend the staff for a job well done on 5/21/22. Wesley is amazing what I didn't put this poor man through. I will definitely recommend this pep boy's to people. I hope the staff gets recognition for doing a job well done. As We Know and this day and age it's hard to find anybody who likes to do their job and does their job with a great attitude. I do not know about the outcome of our service. Yet. Because we have been here for 1.5hour so far, and they did not take our car into the shop yet. To our question- finally, when?- they said," we have only 2 mechanics today". I am not asking how many mechanics. Why not to give an appointment? Why not to add us to come back? Why at least not to check it , give an estimate and then see, if we are willing to wait? Why so disrespectful to other people's time? And no apologies. No excuses. Like it is normal to have people wait for 2 hours. Terrible

Went in to get my blinker light fixed knowing fully well it's not the bulb, 2 hour later all I got was them telling me my headlights are leaking, and I needed a headlight assembly which really doesn't need a genius to know, anyone who looks at the car can see the dew on the headlights, and they still needed more time to let me know how much that'd cost after two hours. They charged 60$ for an electrical evaluation. Gained nothing lost 60$.

I wanted a flat tire repaired, stating that if it couldn't be fixed, I'd like to buy new tires. I was told the price of the repair and asked to wait. Two hours later, a technician came out asking if I wanted a repair or new tires. Obviously, no one assigned any notes to my car. The "repair" took another 45 minutes, during which, the man at the counter tried to upsell me on over $2,000 of service--going as far as to claim all of my tires are bald and needed replacing. When I refused, they charged me for the repair--claiming it was repaired--and gave me my keys. By sundown that same day, the tire was flat again. The next morning, a roadside-assistance technician told me that no repair was done to the tire and towed me to a different mechanic, who actually fixed the tire. After a proper repair, the tire has kept air for over a week. I will never again shop Pep Boys, and I urge you not to, either.

The only reason I give any stars is for convenience to the interstate, good selection of parts in the store, and they offer law enforcement/military discounts. Everything else was one of the worst auto store experiences I've had. This was the first time I have been to a Pep Boys and will unfortunately be my last. I came rolling up on a donut spare after blowing a tire on the NJ turnpike as they do offer a convenient location to the interstate. After explaining that my tires were only a few months old and that I was just wanting to replace the one that had picked up a screw, I was offered specials on 4 new tires. This was not the situation where that was necessary. After explaining again that I did not need but one tire, the car was put on the rack and service was relatively quick. Unfortunately, I could see that the vehicle was done as there is a window to the service center, we waited another ten minutes as every employee in the store was scrolling on their phones, service employees and main cashiers. He finally looked outside and told me it was ready. I paid in cash, but there was no coin change and instead of checking the other cash registers, I got the short end of the stick, not that big of a deal but just compounded the rest of the issues. I went to leave but the spare was just set on the back of the car....I went back in and informed the service desk of this and they looked at me like I was crazy and that they had put it back in its place. I walked out there with them and pointed it out and an employee was told to put it back. So I stood in the rain installing it myself and raising it back up because I was more than fed up at this point before the employee came out and "helped" me. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone else, especially on the tail end of a 2,000 mile road trip when you need decent service the most.
