Some heavyset guy with a oversized front tooth . Did my oil change . he didn’t even allow me to choose the oil I wanted . he continued to pressure me the whole time to buy the something . In which I didn’t however he began . checking my glove department . Inwhich he loosen and it just opens from time to time now he told me the screws were rusty . I won’t ever go back there again . Can’t chose my own oil and I feel pressured always to buy things Services: Transmission, Battery, Oil change, Air conditioning

They broke my car and won't fix it. Did not securely tighten the drain plug allowing the engine oil to leak out within three days and cause my Honda Accord V6 engine to seize. I am devastated, Valvoline made over $2.5 Billion in revenue last year but won't take responsibility for their mistake and fix my car. Service: Oil change

I been going to valvoline for years. I dont remember the young man name but he was great customer service. He was very patient with me while I retrieved the email with my discount. I recommend this 8th Ave in paterson location. They even check your vehicle and let you know if there is anything else you need done to the vehicle.

I gave it 3 stars but, it probably wasn't completely the service guy's fault. It seems the location may have been under staffed at the time. Three bays operating with two guy's on top. It took longer than usual. I should know cause I use Valvoline locations only and in several states as well. When I need my vehicle's oil changed, I choose Valvoline establishments anywhere I find one. All the other ones, I never had a problem. I even had one location tell me that I didn't need an oil change yet due to me having synthetic oil that could take it for another 1,000 miles.

Great staff that gets you in and out. Always utilizes the coupons and recommendations are always given and appreciated but never forced on what you need. Excellent staff and mechanics. This is my go to oil change place for years.

My sister recently took her car to this location and we were very satisfied and happy on how honest, professional, and caring Tom was when looking at an issue which turned out to be car’s manufacturer’s issue affecting oil dipstick. Tom spent so much of his time and effort to resolve the issue which he did successfully saving my sister a trip to the mechanic shop. He went over and beyond in resolving the problem. The high standards and integrity of how this location operates is unmatched. They really care. Moving forward we are now loyal customers. Thank you soo much!

I was referred to valvoline by a close friend. She raved on & on how this place was so good. I went there & I can honestly say they by far surpassed any place I've had change my oil. They were patient, explained what they were doing. They also checked my lights and fluids making sure they were filled. They were courteous professional and phenomenal and at a very reasonable price. I will always go there from now own. I'm a satisfied customer for life!!!!
