Awful experience! Placed my order and waited 30 min for a bagel with cream cheese. People that came in before me and ordered sandwiches from the grill and had large orders were in and out. When I asked, along with another customer what was happening with our orders the young girl with tattoos on her neck, behind the counter gave me such an attitude. She was slamming the bagels down and rolling her eyes. She had the nerve to tell me that I got a toasted bagel with veggie cream cheese (as if that’s a difficult or complicated order) If you don’t want to make bagels or work for that matter, then don’t! The other woman employee also wasn’t friendly and acted bothered, but at least she completed by order. She should be fired immediately. I will never be back and it’s a shame, since I regularly dined there. Where is the customer service?? Not even an apology! Oh, and I’ll add the bagel was barely toasted and the cream cheese tasted sour.

Huge, tasty bagel sandwiches. Really good coffee. Large menu for breakfast or lunch choices. Friendly staff, good location and lots of indoor/outdoor seating. Conveniently located near many other venues on Rt 9 South.

Great SEC on a croissant, but the bready kind, not the flaky kind which would have been an awesome upgrade. Good Avalon blend coffee. Got busy suddenly once we arrived and kitchen took a little longer than expected but nothing crazy. Food was awesome and shop was a hidden gem of the main road on our way out of town (Wildwood).

Quality specialty coffee at a value price! Def happy to get a 1/2 lb of fresh beans for under $8. Below market value and extremely fair. Great baristas / service as well. Enjoyable vibe and plenty of options to drink.

I use to work for this company many years ago when it was the original owners and everything always worked smoothly. Now it is not good at all. The credit card machine went down so it was cash only. I got a breakfast sandwich and after bringing it home it was not what I ordered. I got a specialty coffee and they had to keep going into the back to restock. Staff seemed new so they were trying to figure out a flow but it was just chaos. This use to be a great place to get breakfast but now it’s a place to avoid.

Got a Sean dog, it tasted okay but there were flies walking on all the muffins and baked goods. Ordered it as a pickup, told them multiple times my name and that I was waiting. Fifteen minutes after it was ready they told me with an attitude that it was ready and they didn't know I was waiting. I was almost the only person in the store with four employees. I was on the phone for a meeting but I was responding to the employees courteously.

Omg,best bagels I have had in a long time.coffee is great too. They also have the biggest muffins and coffee cake. Portions were huge! Beautiful you g ladies working the counter. It's a must try! 3rd best in NJ!

I always love this place! Lots of options the food is great as well as the coffee. The guy who runs it is very very nice. Your friendly neighborhood cafe with a lot of good things to eat. Stop by on you way to Wildwood!

The bagels and coffee here were delicious! We also had a piece of coffee cake that was to die for ! I highly recommend Avalon! You won’t be disappointed. Also , all the people working there were very pleasant and always smiling. We felt very welcomed and appreciated by choosing them for our breakfast!

Finding the perfect bagel is a true gift and Avalon Coffee Co provides. The boiled NJ style bagel is a must grab while in town. Hidden within the crunchy exterior is a light and fluffy interior. We had the chocolate chip and blueberry, both delicious. They make their own cream cheeses, so we opted for the Cinnamon Walnut Raisin cream cheese. It was super light and they don’t skimp on the amount. I love a good bagel slathered with cream cheese! I mean look at this beauty! I look forward to trying more bagel and pastries they offer. The giant muffins almost swayed me to ditching the bagel, but I’m glad I stuck with it. Absolutely delicious. It’s a packed house, so expect to wait for your food. Worth the wait!
