I’d rather die than ever deal with these people again. This is by far the worst post office in the country and you’d be better off going to brick or any other location. The staff is beyond incompetent and exceptionally rude. They use the fact that they are government employees to be lazy beyond belief.

Horrible horrible location. Not only to these workers have the worst attitudes as if you’re bothering them when it’s their job to assist you. They lost ( which I’m convinced was STOLEN) as it never left the location and was scanned as if it did. They called me to pretty much tell me it was nothing they could do and to file a refund claim which was immediately denied. Absolutely no help and the worst customer service ever. Do

Some of the workers are there for the customers but some ruin it for all like ignoring people to have a conversation about life and not caring that the line is out the door what service is this worst ever please give more feedback

The people that work at this location are awful and rude!!!!!!!! Thomas to be exact was so unprofessional and wouldn’t stop laughing on the phone when I’d explain my issue that I had. He stated “I can go back and forth with you all day but it’s going to get you nowhere” and raised his voice when he said it. He kept having to say “hold on I’ll be right back” Everytime id ask a question about the package

I am so disappointed in the service "or lack of" by the postal workers in Island Heights. I was sick with COVID and sent my husband to send out my holiday gifts for clients after he got home from a work shift and could not make it there any sooner. They refused to provide service to him because he did not have postage on his packages already. He was in line by 12:30pm (the post office closes at 1pm on Saturday). He got to the counter at 12:38pm and they would not put postage on his packages because he had 14 bubble mailer envelopes with him and they said "we have a line out the door sir and will never have enough time to get these done and get through the line." Isn't that why you go to a post office? To get postage and mail packages. He should have been served just as any other customer in line who also waited their turn.

Tried to track first class mail sent from Florida 2 weeks ago. The clerk checked the tracking number and said it’s not good. Told me to come back with a valid number. I said this was the number the postal service gave me and I want to track it down. She just kept saying it was a bad number. I told her this is bad service and I will be filling a complaint with Washington. Why do they give you a tracking number if it doesn’t work?

Absolutely the WORST PO I have ever dealt with. I moved 3 weeks ago and I still have NOT gotten my mail from my old address. (which is btw the SAME town but different zip codes). They told when I went there that all forwarded mail goes to Virginia. I called customer service they said they have NO record of receiving my mail forwarding info. The outsourced rep I spoke with was dumber than a box of rocks. Told me to call my PO box and of course NO ONE answers the phone. I am so totally disgusted right now. There is never enough counter help and the ones there are slow as snails. WHERE IS MY MAIL???

Worst postal service I have ever encountered. Impossible to get anyone on the phone. When I went down to the actual office it seemed like no one even knew what their actual job is. I waited forever to talk to someone and then when I asked where my package was (over a week late) they took forever to look up the tracking number. I asked to talk to a supervisor which after waiting 30 minutes and asking again to have no one come out and help. I ended up going back to the company I ordered from and had them refund me the money and ship out a new item. This time I requested they do not transfer my package over to USPS (snail mail)

This post office is always busy, they never have enough cashiers. I also have a P.O. box at this location and all of the time they put someone else’s mail in my box. I don’t understand why they have such a bad sorting out process or system. Some of my mail have gotten lost too. not a very organized post office. I hope the post master do something about this problems.
