The women who run this are fantastic. They steered to deer proof plants when I discovered that was an issue and then gave me advice for squirrel and chipmunk proofing. I have full flower boxes from spring to fall thanks to them.

Avoid. The animals at roadside “petting zoos” like the one here are not well taken care of. The goats had a small enclosure with no food or water. No place to run around freely or hide from your loud, sticky children.

Absolutely the best Verona has to offer. Their wreaths are beautiful and help to make our Christmas complete. Their staff is so helpful.

Animals looked unhappy and kept in way too small enclosures.

Great local nursery in Verona. Good prices and the have good produce in the spring/summer/fall months. In October they bring in some farm animals to display. Family owned and operated. We support their business because the help support Verona.

Great people running a great, family owned business. The employees are always very helpful & friendly. Plenty if parking & the prices are fair. I own a small local business, therefore I try & support small, lical business, & these folks are great.

Great selection of healthy/well cared for plants/flowers/trees at competitive prices with friendly and knowledgeable personnel. An excellent local alternative to insect-infested chains where no one seems to care about plants.

Honest and helpful. If you are thinking about saving a few bucks at Home Depot, you are nuts. This is the place for all your gardening needs. Will never shop anywhere else.

I have been purchasing flowers and plants from here for years. During this time of year they offer a petting zoo for the children to enjoy. When I stopped by yesterday to purchase a pumpkin I pulled up along side a makeshift stall that a young baby calf was in. I couldn't believe how unhappy and sad this poor animal looked. There were so many flies around it, that it couldn't find any way to get comfortable. The under side of its belly was so red and raw from what looked like an infection. It had a dirty stall with a bowl full of water that looked like mud. It was so skinny that I couldn't tell if it was shivering from fear or from being cold. It's back side was so full of feces. It was just a terrible sight. When I asked an employee to change its water they said that the animal only drinks milk, but it was not a good eater. I wonder what kind of milk it's getting. This poor animal needs to go back to the farm it came from with its mother for nourishment and love. I'm just so disappointed. How anyone can say that this a normal sight for a child or anyone to see, it's just appalling!
