I love this place! The owners are friendly and nice and everything is yummy. While it's tomato season, get the tomato pie. It's a pie made of tomatoes, not what you think. It is perfect and people who have tried it hound me about it. Basically everything else is good but I love the babka, the snickerdoodle blondies, and the bars the best there. Also peanut butter cupcake mmm! Update: still awesome. the Jewish apple cake is a bit dense but it is magnificent

I've been visiting this bakery since 2015! Jeff and Debbie are great, I've always had a positive experience. I always order birthday cakes from them too, my family has loved every flavor so far. Even my father enjoys their cakes and he usually doesn't care for cake, pie, etc. I especially love the Jewish apple cupcake and pumpkin cupcake! Also enjoy the snickerdoodle bars and the cherry garcia cookies. Can't forget the chocolate babka!! And you must try the tomato pie when it's in season! There are so many different tasty treats to try, they really do have something for everyone!

What a gem! Absolutely an adorable place with the sweetest owners. And it gets even better.... the treats are super delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Love this place! We had a last minute change of plans for a one year old’s birthday party and they were able to help us get enough cupcakes and a little smash cake within only few hours of the party. The desserts were delicious and they let us sample some soup while we were waiting which was sooo good! The couple that runs it are so kind and and helpful. I highly recommend Magical Sweet Shop!

I have visited this establishment on multiple occasions in the past, however, on my most recent visit, an extremely rude member of staff (possibly the owner?) treated me with impatience and rudeness because I spent 10-15 minutes deciding what to eat, and accused me of 'window shopping' (I don't know why this is a bad thing, but she was clearly annoyed). The exact words were “this isn’t a department store.” It was not busy or close to closing time, so there shouldn't've been a rush for me to pick. The food is good and it's a shame that the attitude of this staff member ruined this visit for me. Edit to add: Not very good at taking constructive feedback either.

They make delicious sweets as well as meals. The brown butter cookies are spectacular. Their fish meals are incredible and the service is A1!

They have the best original sweets in the area. I enjoy their soup of the day. They always have a new treat or dish for me to buy when I go there. It is owned and ran by a sweet couple as well. If you are in the area it is worth it to stop at Magical Sweet Shop.

Their fruit baked goods are incredible. Their donuts are baked not fried (delightful and airy). Ever since this place opened they have done everything right all of the time. I have not discovered anything on their menu that isn’t 100000% delicious. For a small mom&pop shop, they always go above and beyond. I’ve bought regular & ordered from here 10+ times at this point. Got cheesecakes, tiramisu, they made a carrot cake with marscapone icing (I hate icing and I LOVED this). So delectable. I’m a forever customer.

Had the most magical experience at the Magical Sweet Shop. If you live in the South Jersey area, be sure to check out this Mom & Pop Kosher bakery located in Voorhees, NJ. Everything is made from scratch... from the pie crusts to the fresh strawberry cupcakes. I love to support a local small business like this, especially one with such a wide variety of sweet baked goods along with savory options as well, like their famous tomato pie, seasonal soups like gazpacho for the summertime (amazing flavors like watermelon, carrot ginger, etc.) and hot soups for cold seasons. The owners Debbie and Jeff were so sweet and helpful. They put their heart into each homemade item, and it shows! I tried a variety of items including: tomato pie, Jewish apple cake, butter cake, PB&J bar, coconut cherry bar, red velvet cheesecake brownie bar, Banana Misu & caramel drop cookies. My favorite items had to be the butter cake and Jewish apple cake. Both were so moist and delicious. Everything else was excellent as well, 5/5 stars! I was also able to sample the carrot ginger gazpacho and it was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend this bakery for catered events, birthday parties, or just a casual night in when you're craving something homemade and delicious. I'll be back so soon!
