"Lost" or ditched my mail sent to my relative in Bridgeport. First class letter not received after 15 days from another town in NY! My relative's mail sent from Bridgeport post office NEVER arrived where addressed (a package). What is going on there?

I tend to receive mail listed to the wrong person (usually the house's previous owner so not a big deal) and have only received mail to the wrong address once. I just put it back in the box, flip the flag up and the mail person takes it back, not a problem at all. The workers at the Post Office themselves were friendly and personable.

Speaking specifically about the service within the post office, A+++! Josh is awesome whenever I bring my packages in (between 5 and 15 per week) to ship. Very quick at making the tracking and we can ever share a few words. Thanks!

Delivered packages to wrong address, even though address was clearly written on the package. When questioned, realized they were delivered to the wrong location. The person who received them opened the deliveries and the packages inside, and then refused to return one out of the three packages. Person I worked with said they would "hold their mail" until it was returned. Isn't that a federal crime called "mail theft" punishable by up to 5 years? They seemed like they couldn't do anything else and were uninterested in pursuing it more. I had Amazon make good on the missing deliveries and the opened packages, thank God they were far more attentive and caring than the incredibly poor service offered by the post office, who failed in their one job, to deliver a package to the address LISTED ON PACKAGE - THREE TIMES

Whomever the Bridgeport mailman is, I have to wait around until 6pm for my mail to be delivered if I’m lucky at all to give any at all. My neighbors feel the same way.

Super nice, never made me buy tape and they always bend over backwards to help.

People are nice enough. Other post offices will tape up your package for free if you don't have any. This one will make you buy their tape.
