Good store but some items get moved to wrong display areas by other customers and you can't find what you're looking for at times. But overall pretty much your run of the mill HD store. The only Bronx store with tool rental that has free parking.

I called tool rental, I was hoping to buy a used chainsaw. I asked VERY SPECIFIC questions as I was about to drive an hour to get there. They told me everything I wanted to hear saw is in good shape price is higher than other stores because it's in great condition. And no the price wasn't flexible, but the manager was in. End result no. No no. The saw was on its last legs dirty filter bad clutch bad bar. Noone went through it. 2 hours wasted ; jerky employees that were sarcastic and rude. And the tool rental manager not working. The store manager was nice but of no real help...hopefully he'll fix his bad customer service issues.

TOOLS RENTAL IS A JOKE, EQUIPMENT IS BEAT UP, AND THEY LOVE TO CHARGE YOU HIDDEN FEES WITH THE RENTAL AGREEMENT. I DROVE 30 MINUTES TO RENT AN ELECTRIC DRAIN CLEANING MACHINE TO FIX A CLOG PIPE IN MY HOME AND AS SOON AS I GOT READY TO USED IT CABLE FRONT PIECE CAME OFF LIKE IT WAS PUT TOGETHER WITH GLUE, NOT KNOWING HOW TO PUT IT BACK IN IT'S PLACE I TOOK IT BACK TO THE STORE TO EXCHANGE IT AND THEY WERE CHARGING $80 PLUS THE 4 HOUR RENTAL FOR THE PIECE THAT CAME OFF, ARE YOU F-ING KIDDING ME, I LITERARY HAD THE PIECE IN MY HOME FOR LESS THAN 2 SECONDS AND THEY CHARGE ME AN EQUIPMENT FEE THAT ACORDING TO THEM I SHOULD'VE INSPECTED THE PIECE BEFORE I TOOK IT OUT OF THE STORE. NOTHING BUT A SCAM ON THEIR END, THAT PIECE IS PRESSURE PLACED (NOT WELDED)ON THE CABLE AND IS SUPPOSED TO WORK WITHIN THE PIPES, IM JUST GLAD THAT STUPID PIECE DIDNT COME OFF HALF WAY THRU THE PIPE AND THEN I WOULD'VE HAD TO REPLACE THE WHOLE LINE CAUSE OF THEIR FAULTY EQUIPMENT, ANOTHER THING DONT BOTHER TO REQUEST A MANAGER OR FLOOR SUPERVISOR THEY AINT TRYING TO LISTEN TO YOUR ARGUMENT THEY JUST CARE ABOUT GETTING PAID. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF.
