I've been here a couple times for check ups, always received a great service and I did not perceived them focused on getting me buying their products. I waited for a reasonable time and my problems were solved with no issues.

Terrible. Called in advance to confirm they had the parts I needed and hours. Said they did. When I got there they did not have the parts," the parts store just closed" (even though I arrived two hours before closing)AND unless they install the parts they do not sell parts. WILL NEVER GO BACK. MIND YOU I CALLED IN ADVANCE TO BE SURE THEY HAD THEM AND I COULD PICK THEM UP.

I went to this location and told them I had a nail in my rear passenger tire. They told me they would check it out, claimed that I had a leak in the rim and charged me for that service. After three days of driving ary, my tire pressure light was still on. I checked my tires and low and behold, I still have a nail in my rear passenger tire.

I got my brakes done about 2 months ago from this location. A few days later I started hearing a strange clank when going over some bumps. The roads in buffalo are pretty terrible so i didnt think much of it. This past week i started hearing a clanking noise when braking that seemed like it was with each tire spin. I had a friend take a quick look and he immediately saw that my caliper was not on correctly. So either the bolt was not tightened correctly, or it was not put on all together. I took my car back and they fixed it, but I will certainly NOT be going back. Thank god the other bolt was tightened adequately and my brakes did not fail in the past months driving like this.

Charles & Ben where awesome!!! They helped me out on a Saturday near closing time,,, The dealer told me ,, 2 week wait for an alternator replacement!!! From the time I called,, till the time I drove away with my car repaired was about 2 hrs !!! Can’t say this would always be the situation,, but grateful for their help this Saturday!! Thanks guys !! You have a new client!!!!

I called the Elmwood Pep Boys on a Saturday right before they were about to close. A man name Ben had answered. I asked if they’d be able to squeeze me on Sunday; the next day, because I had a bad rattling sound while driving. He assured me that if I brought it in Sunday, around 430-530, he’d be able to throw it on the lift and take a look. I did just that. Sunday, he hooked me up and threw my car on the lift, and the issue turned out to be just a chunky ice block along my axel. The rattling stopped. He also took the time to give my car a quick once over, and informed me my right outer tierod needed replacement as well as my tires we beginning to bald. Shout out Ben. Really helped me out in the little free time I have.

Had a great experience at this Pep Boys!! Chris R. at the front desk was awesome!! Great customer service and even got the work done earlier than expected. Everything was explained to me in detail, and they keep you posted on their progress. Even arranged for a ride for me! Chris S. the technician was also very knowledgeable. Overall I was extremely pleased at this Elmwood Ave. location and will be back for sure.

My check engine turned on Labor Day weekend and my regular repair shop was closed for 3 days. Not wanting to drive around with the light on I went to pep boys and they ran a quick test to see what was wrong with my car. They came back with it being inconclusive and would have to run a longer test that would cost money. The employee was very honest with me. He informed me that I didn't have any major problem, I could drive and not be scared that anything bad would happen to my vehicle. The problem has worked itself out and the light has turned off on its own. Thanks to Pep Boys I didn't have to spend any money on the problem.
