This is the first home depot I ever gone and got assistance without hunting them out . I would definitely go back to purchase things here. As a female sometimes it's hard to look for things . But this place I give it a 10/10 for customer service. 3 people asked me if I was okay or needed help.

Needed mulch, Home Depot had a decent sale, and help was available to load 10 bags into my SUV. Checkout was quick and easy early on July Fourth.

I went this home depot on 07/03 . I asked 4 staff members noone knows anything. I went to the paint section a guy who works there said he does not wear a apron.(whatever that means). I asked for the Manager spoke with John who knew where everything was to bad he hasn't requested the same kind of knowledge and care from his staff. I pointed out the staff member from the paint department who was of no assistance, John seemed liked he could care less he justed wanted to help me with my 9 out of 10 items so I could leave. Now it is time to go back to mom & pop hardware stores Loews and Ace. I HAD A HORRIBLE experience

Katelyn in customer service at the Freeport store gets 5 stars for being so polite, so professional and very knowledgeable. She went out of her way to help me with an order, her assistance was beyond commendable! Thank you Katelyn!

The Home Depot in Freeport is a great location to shop for all your home improvement needs. The staff is friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable and were there to assist me every step of the way. I met the Manager Mr McNeil on the floor and I found him to be personable and efficient. Overall it was a good experience at my neighborhood store and I highly recommend them.

I came to the Freeport Home Depot looking to buy a simple plant at the garden center. The process of checking out was ridiculously sloth-like. Expect to wait, wait, and wait some more. The cashier was on his phone price checking something or texting his friend, I couldn't tell and he didn't communicate what he was doing. I just stood there politely waiting with another customer ahead of me also waiting. So after about 10 minutes I went to different cashier, and then that cashier left the register to go price check something for a customer ahead of me. After waiting another 10 minutes for her to return, I decided to put the plant back that I intended to purchase and left the store. By all means if you have time to waste standing in line then this is the place to go. It would probably have been faster to drive to the Levittown Home Depot than to have wasted my afternoon here. And people wonder why so many people prefer to buy things online... sheesh.

Usually when I go to Home Depot, either ppl are not helpful and can't be bothered or not knowledgeable of things in their department. But this Home Depot is great! I wish I got the person's name but I needed to stain some wood in my house and he made sure the stain I picked up was what I needed for the project I described to him, and he also taught me a few pointers to make it easier. Then I asked him what other items we'd need he kindly told me which aisle and said he'd be around if I had further questions. He actually went ahead of me and went to the aisle that I needed to be and picked out the items I'd need. He was amazing. Then I went to the garden department and another gentleman approached and asked if I needed help and picked out tulips that I needed. It was a very pleasant trip. I would definitely go back to this Home Depot

HORRIBLE. Do not trust their website for a second. Said they had 48 gallons of fuel in the store meanwhile not a single employee could locate one. I wasted 30 minutes being told to go to 5 different locations in the store while still having no luck. By far the worst home depot I have ever been to in terms of customer service, efficiency and sheer common sense. Very displeased, if i could rate 0 stars i would

Worst experience worst customer service. I asked a gentleman today in the tool aisle the difference between the two drills that I wanted to purchase and he told me to read the box and then walked away from me. The same gentleman I asked for help on one more situation and he totally ignored me two separate times and when I finally got him back he said just look in the aisle for it and walked away yet again. When I said to him why are you just walking away and not helping me he started cursing at me screaming and gave me such an attitude that I walked out of the store on the way out I asked a manager for help to let him know about the situation and he could care less as well even though home Depot in Freeport is 5 minutes from me and I've been using them for 30 years I will never use them again and I would rather travel miles away than to deal with such Petty unprofessional human beings I was only able to give one star if I could give zero or negative that would totally be my answer to the unprofessionalism and stupidity that I dealt with today

I went into Home Depot looking for interior doors. I asked a worker who works in the windows/doors department where the interior doors are located. The worker didn't even look at me and seemed annoyed that I needed his assistance but did tell me where I needed to go. After I got what was needed, I needed hinges and went back to the same employee for assistance. Again, he didn't look at me and seemed annoyed. This is not the first time I've experienced this in that store. Basic customer service is to look at someone, smile and greet. Home Depot is a big corporation so who cares right? They will still get there money. I'll pay a little extra for a mom and pop shop. At least I will feel welcomed. In case anyone from corporate cares to investigate, I did not get his name but I did visit the store on March 1st at approximately 11AM at the location in Freeport, NY.
