I just experienced what is absolutely the worst "service" I've ever had. I can't even really call it service because they NEVER touched my truck. I made a reservation to have 4 brake pads installed. I even called this morning to see what time would be good to bring my truck in, I was told 45 minutes, so I said okay I'll hop in my truck now and be right there. I get there at 930. 12:45 they still hadn't even touched my truck. I was told my work order was "pushed to the bottom" 3 hours and 15 minutes for them to not even bring my truck into the bay, and they weren't even remotely busy. How?!!!???? HOW DO YOU MESS UP THIS BADLY?? I was there for more than 3 hours and you couldn't have even been bothered to bring my truck into your bay let alone do the work I SCHEDULED A VISIT FOR!!!! You've lost a customer and around $400.

I don't take my car any place else for basic maintenance. They are quick and efficient. They communicate well, and they don't try to sell me things I don't need! Staff, and Management are excellent as well.

They put mini van tires on my 350 passenger van. When I got home I noticed there was a letter in the size missing glad I caught it. Tires load rating was way to low. Called them up they had me bring the van back to get the right tires. Cost me more time sitting and waiting. Plus extra price difference on the only in-stock tires they had that were correct fit. But could have been much worse.

Trash place in general the manager is terrible and service is horrible, their products were most likely purchased from a cheap manufacturer specifically their rotors. Been here plenty of times before but it seems a change of management has cost quality service to go down. Workers will try their best but don't know how to diagnose a driveability issue; either that or they were told to lie. Three different vehicles one year later warranty is up with warped rotors. brought my daily driver back multiple times before the warranty was up but they told me it was my tires that were bad, then it was my front caliper then...spend your money somewhere else it's not worth it

Used Mavis for many years. The past 4 times at 3 different locations have been as poor of an experience as possible. Unable to correctly balance tires at the Gardiner location told me my wheels were bent. Car dealer balanced tires and found no wheel issues. Front brake job at Kingston, returned a few days later because initial front wobble was still there, asked them to re-check front brakes: they balanced the tires instead, wobble still there. Went to Mavis In Scarsdale for another opinion, where they found both front calipers need replacing. Pricing for this job significantly higher than quoted. Sad.

Don't believe the planted good reviews. If I could leave negative stars, I would. I brought my truck in on 4/23/22 for an alignment, oil change, axle installation and for TPMS sensor installations. I provided the axle and the sensors. After destroying the original axle and telling me the axle that I provided was incorrect they quoted me $260 for one of their axles. Hours later, they told me that I needed another part and quoted me $500. $1541.47 dollars later, I pick the truck up, immediately had to return so they could calibrate the new sensors because it hadn't been done. Once I left, after driving three miles, the TPMS light came back on but they had already closed. I returned the next day for another relearn procedure and was told that if I had to come back that they'd replace the faulty sensor. Two days later, I had to come back and they tried to tell me that it was because my spare tire had no sensor (which it never had) they further told me that they couldn't remove the spare and to come back when it frees up. A few days later, I got a hold of a manager who told me to bring it in and they'd replace the sensor. I brought it in for the 4'th time and they discovered that the axle, output shaft and axle seal that they had just installed had gone bad. After leaving it with them, I came to pick it up again and they tried to tell me that the reason for the failure was because of a 2" leveling kit that my truck has. That was another lie. I demanded my money back and they refused and still hadn't fixed my sensor which was the original reason why I brought it back. After being fed up and leaving with no repair and no refund again, I realized that my passenger side mirror now has damage! It was bashed against one of their lift posts. I informed them and they were not suprised and told me that they'd order me one and install it for me. I refuse to allow them to touch my truck again, I want my money back so I can go somewhere else to finally get my repair done and I want compensation for my damaged mirror.

We always come here if we have car trouble. Had to wait on a car inspection due to the battery needing a recharge. When I went back (after having to drive the car 80 miles to get it to pass inspection), to my surprise the service was free of charge. Great place, customers treated very well. There should be more places like this one.

Absolutely horrible. I brought my Subaru for an inspection and after waiting 45 mins, they wouldn’t pass my car and said I needed $500 worth of work (wheel bearing). My inspection is good until the end of the month and the guy said he needed to scrape my inspection sticker off. Hell no. I asked for my keys and walked out. I brought my car to the Subaru dealership where it passed with no issues, and no need for wheel bearings. Might I add, I am younger so I feel they tried to take advantage of me; not knowing that I do most of my own work on my car. Also, $45 for an air filter that I can purchase and self install for $20? Crazy. Do not recommend

Brought my daughter’s car in to have snow tires and an inspection at the end of 2021. They did the tires but told me the car would not pass inspection due to brake issues. I was told the rear brakes were metal on metal, rotors were gouged and shot, calipers were frozen and front brake pads and rotors were also shot and would need to be replaced. They rattled off some excessive pricing and I told them to throw the tires on the car and I would take care of the brakes. I took the car home and there was nothing wrong with the front or rear brakes accept some rust on the rotors. Since I had already purchased the parts I changed everything out, but this appeared to be a total money grab scam. I have brought numerous vehicles here for years and never had any issues or complaints about this location but all it takes is one time like this and I will never go back. I really expected better from this place. I have changed more brakes on vehicles than I can remember, I don’t make false claims, and kept all the old parts. Attached photos to substantiate my claim.
