I made a purchase which had the incorrect item in the box and I am not able to return it because the serial number on the box does not match the serial number on the item. I reached out to the manufacturer to resolve the issue because I asked the representative to check if the item was purchased and returned prior to my purchase and was told that she can't. Check your items before you leave this store because they sell used return items that they did not verify the serial numbers for and shelf them as new. I was told I should've returned the item on the same day, but purchased the item 5:20 pm, went home and opened the box to install the product after the store was closed. I returned the item less than 24 hours after I realized it was wrong! It was under my assumption that an item's barcode with its serial number must be scanned in order to purchase and return an item-which is being tracked in your inventory. Losing $40 is not an issue, when your representatives want to imply that we swapped the item is the ISSUE. If this item was purchased and then returned prior to my purchase, then this record should be kept in your system. The reason for return should also be noted when completing the return in your POS. Everything can be tracked in retail.

Loved this location. As always the Best Buy stores are busy at this time always a pleasure to see. All the locations are clean, spacious and customer service is A-1. This location is no different. Always love visiting this location. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. If you have issues they are always ready to help. Best of all if you forget your Best Buy credit they still let you make a purchase on it as long as you have your ID. Top notch service

Customer service is very bad! I waited about 15 minutes to get someone to help me by the GPS section and I also talked to a supervisor and he told me he didn't have anyone to help me. I asked him to let someone know and he just told to keep waiting and have patience. The guy clearly did not want to work. I call it as I see it. I left. Don't come to this Best Buy expecting good service.

Micah, salesman at Mt. Vernon Best Buy, deserves recognition for assisting me in making the purchase. I truly did not intend to make the purchase when I walked in the appliance department. I made him aware of our difficult dimensions that we needed to comply with for a purchase. He taught us about the Counter Depth. He assured us that it would fit and would meet our refrigerator demands. We got the water dispenser, crushed ice, cubed ice, stainless steel, and finger print resistant, Flexzone Drawer, & autofill water pitcher. We love it. It fits.
