Staffed by absolute clowns. Frustrating experience wasting 30 mins being told the suit I was choosing was 40% off. Only to then discover at the register that it actually wasn’t discounted at all. Also overheard them telling someone off for bringing an online order into store for a refund. C’mon guys - do better, it really isn’t that hard.

I had two negative experiences at Brookfield Place trying to return a dress. First on June 22, 2022 and then on July 6, 2022 at 2.14 pm. First experience without receipt - spoke with manager and she tried looking up how I had purchased the dress with no luck. My friend who was there when I bought the dress also bought one using a gift card which she no longer had. We explained that but the manager did not help. While we were trying to explain ourselves, I noticed that the manager rolled her eyes and so did Cynthia S. The non -verbal energy from the manager was very poor and I felt unwelcomed there. Second experience WITH receipt - Two weeks later I returned because I found the receipt and went back with my friend. The cashier who did the return was also Cythia S who had rolled her eyes at me. I provided the receipt and asked how much credit I would get as it was a store credit. She responded in a nasty and condescending tone that I would have to look at the receipt. At that point the same manager suddenly appeared and she was also looking at me. I had to return and ask who the manager was to which the manager responded she was. I said, "I will write a review on both of you for my negative experience." I will not be shopping at this store again. NEVER. Poor customer and manager experience. not cool!!!

I was greeted at the door - ok. I walked to the back of men's to try on a jacket and was noticeably ignored by a sales clerk who was hanging up mark down men's shirts. I was at the mirror there. I even had to ask him for the jacket hanger as he had hung sale shirts over it while I was trying on the jacket - not even a word or eye contact from him when I asked for the hanger. So I (myself) put the jacket back and walked out. It was ok. I think (?) I liked the fit. Probably would have bought it had I had interaction of an enthusiastic knowledgeable sales agent. I was SO obviously ignored that I will never go back. Rude by omission. (I've read through some of the reviews here - seems to be a problem in your men's dept. I felt profiled as well - and ignored. and like the sales team could care less. Hope this all works out for your bottom line. the sales team obviously believes this is OK so must be company policy Rule of thumb - one person tells 100.

Atrocious customer service. Nobody helps here. Asked the guy for a specific size and he kept me waiting, after 10 mins he came back and had completely forgotten about me.

Worst experience ever. Unfortunately I felt I was profiled. Was treated differently when I was dressed in a suit. Manager Patche was very unprofessional. Attempted to return an item using a gift receipt. Could tell there was an attitude towards me, but followed instructions. She asked for original receipt and denied return without original gift card again. After informing her it wasn’t required and told her about her attitude she attempted to do her job and complete the return. By this time I was furious and left to another j crew. Felt I would not have received attitude if I wasn’t dressed in casual attire.

The worst customer experience I’ve ever had. Manager wasn’t friendly at all. Felt judged the moment I step inside the store. No friendly hi or good Afternoon. Overall I will never come back here again regardless if it was the last Store in New York.

What’s with the cold shoulder given at this location, none of the staff were friendly here, they acted like they had better things to do and it’s false, most of them after helping a customer check out they just stood around acting like that were doing stuff. There’s also no line for checking out either, waited in a imaginary line for 10mins, and only those who were being helped looking for an item and finished were put at priority… the management at this store makes no sense

Once you get the attention of an employee they're very helpful. Unfortunately this store has a limited selection of men's clothing - or maybe it's a great selection? I'm not sure if J Crew is a primarily online retailer.

Love this store. One of the more busy stores at Brookfield because the prices are realistic as are the clothes. Something for everyone.
