Thrilled to have this store in our community! While they have tons of supplies and gear for all our adventure needs; I am more impressed with the kindness of the owners! Tonight they went above and beyond to accommodate my Girl Scout Brownie troop. Jay was nice enough to educate the girls, give them a badge, and offer to help with our hiking and camping needs. Joan was helpful in demonstrating backpacks and chatting with the girls. Definitely check them out!

For a small boutique, this place has a pretty impressive selection of top-of-the-line and most current outdoor gear- including rentals to test out. Definitely not your big box retailer of mediocre, cheaper products, so it might not suit everyone. They also have a good assortment of trail maps specifically for the tri-state area, and the staff know a lot of the better spots nearby.

What a great store!!! Jay and Joan are both super awesome people and I'll never go anywhere else for my outdoor gear. As a climber, backpacker, camper, and kayaker, this store has everything i could ever possibly need. And if they don't have it they'll order it online for you!!!

Great outdoor shop, incredibly kind and knowledgeable staff. They’ll help you figure out exactly what you need & special order just about anything you can’t find in-store — never ordering from amazon for my adventure gear again. Love all their guided trips and community events as well!

A user friendly shop by the Delaware River with legit climbing knowledge? Sounds odd but just walk in for 5 minutes and you find out, they know climbing, rocks, ice climbing, bouldering, and all the gear you need and don't need. If they don't have it in the store, it'll get there before an online place gets it to your house. A hassle because you're not talking to a live human who knows the sport. I had a great experience with shop owner Jay trying to figure out what gear my son might need, we went over my thoughts and I had all the gear in plenty of time and this was during the height of COVID when most shops claimed supplier shortages. You'll be wasting your time online, better to go and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

Exceptional customer service, top-of-the-line equipment and products, and extremely entertaining staff! Not just a store. Guided tours show off the great town, waterfalls and mountains. If you are looking for an adventure, this is the place to go. Any season, any age, any ability- there is an activity for you. I highly recommend this place and all it has to offer!

Don't let the small store front fool you, this place is filled with high quality camping, climbing and water sports gear, plus they have a well chosen selection of men and womens outdoor clothing. The owners are very friendy and knowledgable about the goods they sell. If you're in the Tri-state area and need quality outdoor gear there's no need to mount an expedition to REI; it's all right here at SCO, in Milford. Open 7 day a week.
