I see a lot of employees standing around in conversation with other employees. You could be standing next to them to acknowledge your presence, however, they don't stop talking until you say excuse me. Then they point to where item is vs. taking the time to walk you over. In addition to check out only one cashier with a full line. Customer is not at the top of the valley stream green acres location.

Valley stream Best Buy location. I’ve spent close to 15k this year at Best Buy. This store location is horrendous. I usually avoid it even though it is the closest one. Today I figured it would be a quick ring floodlight pickup. No one to help. Asked the first black shirted employee she said to find a blue shirt employee. Went to the front door employee he sent me to mobile desk. Went to mobile desk where manager and two other employees were standing manager told me to wait for register employee who was debating a customer on screen protectors. Once I got up to register he sent me to check out told me to buy it there. Empty store 1pm on a Wednesday. Went to check out employee there was rude. I said thank you a couple times no answer. Good lesson for my 10yo daughter who was with me. Customer service is trash there. I’m going to start just using best buy as a demo place and order online from somewhere else.

Valley stream best buy geek squad. I had an appointment to get my tablet repaired in which I agreed to pay for, and customer service said that was fine they would look at it and tell me the cost. The manager refused service because he said i did not purchase it there. Customer service said he had no right to refuse service as thats what they do repairs. I believe that manager is unqualified for that position.

Went to get a new carpet power cleaner(which I highly recommend) I had a 5year insurance swapped out had to buy a new insurance on the new one. It deep cleans very well. Has great features including one that helps dry carpet.

Today I walked into the electronics department of the store because I wanted to ask a simple question about a camera I had purchased recently. The person there called someone who knows about cameras on his radio. He then walked to the cashier and stayed there.....AND........you guessed it. NO ONE came back to assist me. I noticed two gentlemen talking to each other and one of them looked at me. THEY DID NOT WANT TO HELP ME BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT I WAS NOT BUYING ANYTHING THERE TODAY. I waited there for about 20 minutes for someone to come and talk to me; then I left the store, so disappointed. A big name electronics store should not do this to anyone because bad reviews and word of mouth spread like fire. I will not recommend this store to ANYONE, period.

I love my 2nd pair of thy 2nd generation airpod reason why I have brought a second pair is because I loaned my first one to my son because he misplaced his and I needed one in the meantime for when I go to the gym and especially to make and answer calls in which I haven't been able to do. So I just went ahead and got me my second pair especially because they were on sale which was even better. I love them the quality, sound just about them period oh, and last but not least the price. 💖💜🙌👍

I went to this Best Buy near Green Acres Mall and as usual I had a very pleasant experience. I needed a wall charger for my cell phone and a screen protector. I love the fact that they have an insurance that allows you to pay one price for unlimited screen savers. I had a new phone that needed this. This was right on time!

The staff are helpful and polite, I usually visit the Best Buy during the week, because everybody and their grandmother is at Best Buy on the weekend. They have a huge selection of Tech to choose from. I usually purchase my unlocked phones there, because they have the best price around.

The manager-on-duty and staff at the customer service desk are horrible and rude. I ordered 2 open box 27" LCD monitors a couple of weeks ago on-line for my office in Manhattan. (Both were listed as "Excellent Condition"). Went to pick them up at this store this past Friday. The first chance I had to install them was this past Monday. Upon opening up the packaging, (1) unit came in it's original packaging and had no issue. When I opened the 2nd unit, I noticed the base was broken (with the broken pieces still in the box), when I plugged it in, the screen also showed damages. I filed a replacement / return request on-line on Monday. I went to store on Tuesday with the damaged unit and the return authorization print-out. The lady behind the customer service desk (who happened to be the manager on duty) told me there's only a 24 hour return policy for open box items and since several days have passed, they can't do anything for me and it was not their problem. I asked for Best-Buy corporate phone number and called them while i was still in the store. The corporate representative told there is no such restriction on open-box items and they agreed to send me a return label for free. Wouldn't a manager of the store know their own return policies?? What kind of idiot would promote in incompetent person to a management position?? With millions of New Yorkers loosing their jobs due to Covid, don't tell me this is the best BB can do to staff their retail stores? Based on the way I was treated, I will stop all personal and business purchases from this store. BB Corporate should look into replacing some of the staff at this location ASAP.
