Miss when it was 24/7 mon-Thursday definitely canceling my membership haven’t been going at all for that reason kinda lost its magic touch since the time change granted Covid times affected this but still it’s sad

I have never had a problem with the payment, the machines, any of the employees, just the owner. He is extremely arrogant and condescending. Instead of explaining the rules in a calm and respectful manner, he talks down to customers as if they were children being taught a lesson by their parents. He is extremely confrontational and blatantly disrespectful. His own employees don't even respect him.

I would gladly refer my friends and family to American family fitness ! I am a long time member . I began working out as a teenager and I am now 43 . I just popped on here to view hours of operation as I took a long break from training . I was pleasantly surprised how much AF has Expanded and also how pleasant the staff was and helpful at showing me around . Loved the tanning bed and cardio equipment. I will always stay loyal to Af ! You get a lot for the money compared to other places in the area. Also, nothing beats some time in the sauna after a good workout to feel rejuvenated.

I am new to exercising. I have been for about six months now. I just recently changed gyms to here and I couldn't be happier with it! There are what feels like countless machines weights, ellipticals, treadmills, and machines I would know where to begin to describe. When I first started I was offered a trainer. Who also works there. He walked me around showed me what machines did what, the proper way to use them and also a good idea on how to create my personal training plan. It helped me tremendously! I have nothing bad to say about this gym! Also it's CHEAP! $10 A month for the basic stuff. (All you need anyways)

My only issue is the limited hours. I hope soon they'll be able to extend them because my husband works 11 hr. evening shifts so it's not easy for him to go except on days off. Other than that, the equipment works as it should, they've upgraded some of it since COVID and they have a temp check at the entrance of the gym. As far as I can tell, they're doing everything they can to make it safe.

Chase did an amazing job helping me sign up and making the whole process painless. This woman deserves a raise! Love the place in general, very safe and takes all the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of this pandemic. Would advice management to maybe get tap to pay!

I was a member of AFF and it was the first gym I ever went to. The machines seemed to be old, not well kept, and canceling was absolutely awful. They say it's a $19 cancellation fee and then charge you a $30 "yearly maintenance fee" even if you haven't been there a year. Also, you have to cancel in person even if you move somewhere far away and try to cancel from the phone, you better start planning a trip home. I don't recommend this to anyone.

I was a member here and cancelled years ago. I recently went back to join with my son and friend. They told me that I had an outstanding balance of 500 plus and could only join if I paid an additional 29 dollars on top of other fees. I asked to speak to a manager and asked why I never received a letter indicating it was active and she said, “We do not do that here?!” She confirmed I could not come back unless I paid the fees. I called Planet Fitness and the Asst Manager was on his way to lunch but stayed until we got there. MUCH nicer and cleaner gym. No upfront fees and I can travel and as a member receive same black card benefits! Scott was awesome! American Family Fitness lost three new members over 29 dollars and a rude manager!
