Took my 13-year-old son into the salon to get a haircut. I specifically asked that she keep his curl and at least an inch and a half on his head. She basically did not listen to me cut his hair all the way down to a half an inch and it’s very uneven all over the place. I don’t believe this one it should be a hairdresser. The sad thing is is I will not go back to JCPenney salons in the future. If I hadn’t have said exactly what I was looking for I would not have a problem with this. My problem is she disregarded every single thing I asked her to do.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. I needed a quick cut. I should of done it myself. She was 30 min past my appointment time. She was rushing and wanted to go home. I told her about my allergies and she did not care. She did not even check the shampoo and conditioner. Then cut my hair so quick. It is uneven. Then proceeded to burn me with the hair dryer. I love hot heat and hot showers. I was almost in tears. (I told her it was hot) this was after she told me it was EXTRA for dry hair. Assuming I could not afford it. I don’t want to walk out of a salon with wet hair. I did not catch her name. Her stand is through the door and second chair on the left wall. Do not go. Services: Haircut, Hairstyling

Since moving here 20 years ago, I have been through quite a few hair stylists, without getting results I want. Nothing special. Just the cut I WANT....Darlene changed all that, YEA!! I drive a hour to get there, but I'm happy. Thanks so much! Joy

This was my third visit to this salon. I was not over the moon with the service but satisfied in the first two. Today I had highlights done with Christina and my hair trimmed. When I went to pay for the services, the first amount on the register was $95 but then the stylist asked if I were a Penny’s reward client. I wasn’t sure so she asked me for my phone number and entered it into the register. As it turned out I was not a member. When she returned to the screen to charge me again, she changed the amount due to $120 which I asked her about. She said it wasn’t a partial highlight and that she used more foils than usual. I noticed however that my receipt said partial highlights! This girl changed the amount of this service thinking I would not notice! NOT good service ladies! I was so disappointed that a professional especially at J C Penny’s would do so! Unfortunately I’m not returning!!

Wanted to get an eyebrow waxing but I didn’t have an appointment so I was asked to come back in a few minutes they would have someone free for me. This is understandable so I did and another woman asked me what I needed so I told her...she didn’t do anything to help me she just stood there. I felt ignored. Then a young lady came in and helped me (by this time I have been waiting 30 minutes). She was going to take me but then she was talking another associate in a quiet manner in front of me, so I felt uncomfortable because I think they were talking about me. After all that she later goes that they cannot take me right now and that I can come back in the afternoon... waste of time. Lesson learned, won’t come back.

This salon used to be great, but that was a long time ago. Terrible customer service, understaffed, employees ignore you, with a few exceptions ( last time, the hair stylist named Chad was the only one who was attentive and kind). I used to go there all the time for a haircut and other treatments, had great experiences with hairdressers who, unfortunately, don’t work there anymore. I just didn’t like the results nor the experience last time. The professional called Lauren was rude and wasn’t paying attention to what she was doing. More than once, while applying color to my hair, she let parts of the hair fall on my nose, lips, eyes and forehead, not taking any care of the stains the dark color left on my skin. The haircut was bad, the ends were uneven in the back and I only noticed that when I got home. She seemed impatient and not caring even when I was trying to be nice. Don’t recommend this place.

I have been making appointments here for 10 years. I am very satisfied not only with this salon, but my hairdresser. She’s awesome and I always ask her opinion about my style with each visit. I seem to change what I wanted after speaking with her. “Carol” always has time for my “additions” once I arrive. A shout out for Carol K. She is awesome and multitalented!!

Waited a half hour to find out that the lady they placed my daughter with to cut her hair had an appointment in 15 minutes. The receptionist took my name and number and didn't tell me anything when I walked in so I had to track down someone to even find that information out. Then the lady they wanted to cut my daughter's hair, in a 15 minutes window for a girl with curly hair, asked if my daughter could even brush trough her hair and that it's tangled. No ma'am, it's really not tangled but she didn't use product today to smooth her curls because she was getting a haircut. Also their chairs when you walk in are the dingiest things I've ever seen. Your haircuts aren't cheap, why does your salon look so cheap?
