We have always preferred Sherwin Williams paints for our projects, so this review isn't about the product. Out of all of the retail locations we have used, we have been most impressed by the service and assistance we received here. We initially visited the Hanes Mall rd branch, and did not receive good service. However, Jacob at the Clemmons branch was more than helpful assisting us with picking out colors and mixing gallons for us, even when he was alone and the store was very busy. This store is more clean and better stocked than the others as well.

Best paint in town. Paint costs cut down by using contractor discounts. Good supplies. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Understaffed. Can take a while to get a big order filled due to understaffing.

Since the Virus going on, pulled into parking lot and called the # on the door. Assistant answered almost immediately and took my order and credit card details. Brought paint to truck and placed in back floor with receipt. Thanked me and I am on my way. Was great!

Professional advice from knowledgeable sales people. I knew I could have gotten a cheaper paint someplace else but I needed advice on what paint would cover best for my particular job. Something that is hard to get at the big box store. Plus shopping locals helps your neighbor!

The quality of SW paint is superior & color selection is vast. If you don’t find the exact color you’re looking for they will help tweak a formula to make a custom color. I always buy Emerald, their highest quality paint & it’s worth every penny. The coverage is amazing. I can paint white over a dark color in basically one coat. It kinda hurts to pay so much for a gallon of paint, but I usually use a coupon & anyone who’s had to do 3-4 coats of trim will agree that’s way worse. The best part of the Clemmons location is the employees. A couple of the guys have worked there for years & been so patient & helpful to me when trying to select a color. I highly recommend this store. I’ve been using them for years & will continue using them exclusively for everything from spray paint & brushes to latex paint & stain.
