A truly outstanding pharmacy. I go out of my way to utilize their customer service, high level of professional knowledge, and valuable advice on medications. They have an experienced RN on staff available for consultation. Pharmacist Theresa is a gem, as well as are the rest of the staff.

When my husband and I begain having our medications filled at Americare pharmacy we were extremely pleased with the overall treatment from the staff, until a new employee begain working there by the name of Sviatlana Drevila. First came my experience with her, and it involved my prescription for a narcotic pain medication I have been taking for chronic pain for the past 10 years for a medical condition that causes me crippling pain and zero quality of life without them. Now I am well aware of how people like me are looked upon with all the misuse from certain individuals that do not use them for what they are intended for, which makes this very difficult for those of us who use them properly as they are prescribed. I completely understand that pharmacists must use caution when filling these controlled substances, but the experience I had from this lady that was to fill my prescription was such a nightmare that I felt totally humiliated and made out to look like a horrible person. I get my medication every 28 days and this information was even in their system, however she made a complete and total spectacle of me. She came out and told me that i was 3 days early, which I was not since I got my medication at 28 days and she wasn't considering that fact that there were 31 days in the month prior to me getting them and that they were indeed ready to be filled and I never had this problem before she came. The fact is this,,, she humiliated and embarrassed me by making me look as though I was a drug seeker. However I continued using this pharmacy because of the other pharmacist's that are extremely kind and helpful. Then came my husband's experience with this same lady. He too is prescribed a controlled substance, and the pure and total hell that she put him through was enough. Needless to say we decided to change to another local pharmacy, all because of this one person and her inability to treat customers with some amount of dignity and care. Americare really needs to pay close attention to this one particular employee, before she causes them to lose anymore customers with her careless treatment, and if we were to push the incident with my husband and some of the things she said and did to him, I'm positive she would be reprimanded or dismissed from their employment. She is extremely rude, obnoxious and uncaring.
