If I could give negative stars I would. The lady took blurry pictures and one of my kids wasn’t even looking at the camera. We asked for the pictures to be redone because we have to drive over an hour to get the passports and didn’t want to be denied due to terrible pictures. The lady said we would have to pay to get them redone. And also argued that the photos were fine. Better chance on doing this at home.

As is typical of every CVS in Austin, understaffed, depressing, incompetent and infuriating. Avoid this CVS unless you want to waste an afternoon here as their clueless staff stares helplessly. My toddler would be better at running a pharmacy.

If I could give a 0 star I would do that. Staff was zero collaborative, knowledgeable and/or customer oriented. I went to the pharmacy and asked for one COVID test. They sent me to the front and I was charged for the box of two. Then I went back to the pharmacy since they said they would do the claim and for my surprise instead of asking for me to be reimbursed, they asked my insurance company to pay them directly. I explained that I already paid at the front and wanted to get reimbursed. They directed me back to the front to get the reimbursement. Then it was a long line . I waited my turn and when I asked for reimbursement, They looked at me like if I was crazy and told me to go back to the pharmacy. Anyway after a lot of talking and bad customer service, they said they could reverse the claim but they could not give me any proof. I don’t even know if they did it not and i won’t be able to get reimbursement since this box was going to be my maximum of 8 COVID test kids my insurance company pays .

My family and I have gone to this CVS pharmacy for 29 years now and I have never been more appalled by such poor treatment than I was yesterday. If I could give zero stars, I would. Whoever the pharmacist is has no idea how to treat people kindly and not only yelled out the name of the prescription (which is for ANXIETY— this obviously only made me feel humiliated and even more anxious) in front of about 15 people waiting to get their vaccine… which is a massive HIPAA Violation and I reported her immediately while I left the store. She continued to tell me she was refusing to fill the prescription and was blurting my personal information out in front of everyone. I finally broke down and began to cry. I asked if she or I could call my doctor, and she told me no. She told me it was “illegal” to refill my prescription even though it’s been well past the 30 day renewal period. I called my therapist and medication manager and they are reporting this woman as well. They told me that no one should ever be made to feel insecure for their mental disorders, especially from someone who supposedly went to school to learn about medicine. H‑E‑B filled my prescription same-day so that I could get on my flight and we will never be returning to this CVS pharmacy. Let her go before she gets your entire store shut down for literally lying to customers because she doesn’t want to work and making HIPAA Violations left and right. The woman who checked me out for the one prescription I was able to pick up (even though my text confirmation said they were both ready) apologized profusely for the pharmacist’s behavior because I was visibly crying; SHE was amazing and I can’t thank her enough for being the only bright light for me in that establishment.

0/5 would be a better description. How can a Pharmacy lose a patient’s medicine? Oh, and there isn’t a pharmacist working for an almost 24 hours consecutive period. Nothing can be done to find my medicine. I have a receipt with an order number and it says “delivered”. It’s just gone. $1,000 of medicine just disappears into thin air.

Do not use delivery service for your prescriptions. Not reliable and the pharmacy just doesn’t have any recourse to help. They are always very nice but since they use the USPS to deliver free of charge it’s just not reliable…

They lost my medicine again. This is the 4th time with no explanation. I literally can’t believe CVS is allowed to operate in the United States with how they treat their customers. GO TO WALGREENS OR NORTHWEST HILLS PHARMACY. 100x better experience.

The Pharmacists cannot keep track of orders and there is no communication between CVS pharmacy and CVS specialty. This is the worst situation in the the history of pharmaceutical healthcare.

The pharmacy service is the worst in all the drug stores I have been. I lined and waited for 15 minutes to pick up my medicine. That was normal and I have nothing to complain about it. But when I showed them my insurance card, I was asked to go to "drop off" to talk to a pharmacist. The pharmacist never looked at me while talking to me. After the pharmacist figured out my insurance, I was sent back to the end of the line to "pick up" my medicine. I cannot believe I used this CVS as my primary pharmacy for so many years. I will never come back again! Now I understand why I often see mad customers in this store.

It DOES matter where you get your precriptions filled! Since 2015 we have gone to CVS and paid yearly increasing meds costs even with our prescription plans. When I would question the cost of my synthroid medication in particular, the pharmacists would explain it was because of the tier level the drug was in, or I hadn't met my copay, or simply , they just didn't know. Today after deciding to switch pharmacies, I picked up my first prescription of synthroid at HEB. I paid $47 for the same prescription that CVS last charged me $107.49! Wish we would have switched long ago....Oh, now if CVS would only stop making those annoying automatic refill calls..They were notified of our switch to another pharmacy and we still have received the calls!
