Don't leave a deposit and decide against buying the vehicle. They think you should not get your deposit returned. Slimey business practices. Tom in their sales will go as far as to call you at home and curse you for wanting your money back. Like it is theirs to keep just for talking to you. Prepare for a battle posting anything except stellar reviews on their Facebook page or website because they will remove anything derogatory and block you from posting at all. Their lower rated reviews everywhere are the ones providing a true picture of the way business is practiced at Midgette Auto Sales in Harbinger. Steer clear of this company and buy elsewhere. Still trying to get my deposit back since Thanksgiving even though we have no contract to buy.

I would not advise anyone to buy from Midgette Auto Supercenter as they are a very dishonest and misleading dealership. They sold us a Ford E-150 van that they claimed passed their inspection and was in perfect working condition. After we purchased the vehicle, the brakes failed on the way home. No matter how hard I stepped on the brakes, the vehicle could not slow down or stop and we almost got in an accident. This was a very scary experience as it put both me and my daughter in a very dangerous situation. It turns out the brake line system was all broken as if no inspection nor maintenance had even been done on the vehicle. Fortunately, Midgette Auto sent a tow truck to pick up the van since it was not in driving condition. I was then told that the just-bought van needed some work and the parts were about $2,000. The same story was told to me for 2 months, which was inconvenient as I had to put off quite a few jobs that required me to have a work van. After two months of no further updates, I had to purchase another vehicle for me to be able to move around. I went back to the dealership to check to see if they had any updates. I was told the van was at the shop, so I went by the shop to look at it. To my surprise, no work had been done and no parts ordered! The van was not even on schedule to be worked on because the dealership had not sent the approval to change the parts. The rust under the van is so much that it is not a guarantee that the van will be in working conditions. Please be careful and avoid Midgette Auto Supercenter if possible!!

Give em 2 stars because they actually got me a vehicle, took almost a month from purchase to get a shipper. No issues with delivery. They also provided me a CarFax and that doc did, in fact, show prior ownership and operation in NY. Word to the wise, vehicles coming from the Midwest will have some rust. They beautifully photo'd the truck without the under-carriage. I bought it sight unseen based on (lower) mileage, price and photos, when it got to me-after their "thorough" vehicle inspection process-it was a quart+ low on filthy oil and had 4 mismatched tires. I inspected it and immediately started having concerns about previous body work, the driver's door bracket was welded back in place and the door squeaks and creeks like it left the set of the Adam's Family, there was pretty obvious body work and poor paint repair on the van. The front brakes are rusted and grooved. Fairly depressed I immediately reached out about refunding the purchase, assuming I would have to pay to ship it back at a minimum. After bouncing around on emails for almost 2 weeks I got the return "offer". I paid 16K for the van and, without ever driving it or even registering it yet, Midgette Tom offered me $11,500 for it...and I have to pay (around 1700) to ship it back. Obviously, they can take that offer and wipe their rear ends with it. So, I would say, if you're going to buy from Midgette Auto, go there, do not buy anything site unseen, and negotiate to beat the band! They obviously have a WIDE range on price, and are gouging the heck out of people.

Quick, easy, painless. Derrick was easy going and knowledgeable. They had what we wanted, zero pressure, and we were out the door in no time. The least amount of paperwork I've ever dealt with when buying a vehicle. They followed up the same day, next day, and following week. Makes you feel like you're not just a number.

Kendrick Alley was absolutely AMAZING! He was so patient and did everything he could possibly do to make sure that we left in a vehicle that we were happy with. He went with us to test drive several vehicles and didn't mind standing in the cold with us while we took our time figuring what vehicle best fit our needs. Tom was also AMAZING! He put in a lot of work to make sure that everything went through for us the way it needed to! Both of them stayed past close to make sure everything was taken care of. I work in customer service as well and they definitely are an asset to this dealership! Thank you both so much! Will most definitely come see you again in the future for vehicles and will recommend Midgette Auto to anyone looking! Happy Holidays!

Sales staff Monica and Nick were very knowledgeable and professional. It was a good experience talking with them. I would rate them both as 5 stars. Unfortunately I did not realize Midgette Auto Supercenter sells only at the advertised price, i.e. no negotiating. It is not readily apparent on their website.

Highly recommend! Monica and Craig were extremely helpful. They made every step of what is normally a stressful process easy and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! I was given more than I expected for my trade in, and was able to finance a much newer vehicle than I anticipated. This is the 3rd vehicle I have bought from Midgette and I will definitely keep coming back!

Very happy with our experience at Midgette Auto. Nick really helped us with the car choices in our budget and gave us lots of space to make a decision. I was nervous buying from a dealer in case they would be pushy or salesy but it didn’t feel that way at all. We did several test drives and they even brought a car down from their VA store so we could compare. They have a great range and we’re so happy with the car we bought, it was exactly what we wanted. We’re also so glad to have been able to shop local, especially since we have a young baby so travelling and trying to look at cars can be hard! Thanks to Nick for making the process so easy, the great service made us confident that we made the best choice. Highly recommend Midgette Auto and we LOVE our new car!

Update 6/30/17 ZERO STARS. READ ON Bought a used 2006 Dodge ram 3500 diesel from them, and this thing had all sorts of issues that popped up right after I got it, seems like they didn't even check it out, the majority of the front suspension parts were loose, the transmission over heated constantly they "looked at it" after I had come back several times with the issues but because it was sold as-is they didn't really do anything. (I had to replace the transmission after about a month or ownership) the truck had an open safety recall that I wasn't made aware of the before purchasing. The breaks were 95% gone, had to put all new breaks and rotors on ($1200). Stay away from this place they are in the market of turning vehicles at any cost to the consumer. The old saying buyer beware holds very true to this place. UPDATE 6/30/17 After I left this exact same review on Facebook the owner contacted me saying that he would like to address the issues, we spoke, and both decided that I would bring the truck back to get the suspension fixed (replace all the blown shocks on the truck when I bought it) so I dropped it off to them a week ago. I go to pick it up after hours tonight (6/30/17) and I come to find they have installed the front shocks upside down. I contacted the owner, and got yelled at for "being the problem" and the service manager also called me saying the same thing, that I have no idea what I'm talking about. Clearly says on the shock "INSTALL THIS END DOWN" you tell me if I have "no idea" what I'm talking about.
