The most unprofessional place I've ever dealt with. I needed to transfer my tag from another state. I was told I only needed my NC drivers license, insurance and registration from my previous state. I get there in Lumberton and the Lady stated we need the title. I advised I was still paying on the car. She was running that mouth to the person next to her instead of listening. She stated I've been doing this for 10 years. I Replied I've heard that several times while waiting in line. I asked for my stuff back. I went to New Bern Ave in Raleigh, and was out in 20 minutes with my tag. Just because you've been on a job for 10 years has nothing to do with knowledge.

Not only was it confusing and frustrating; but the man “helping" me was condiscending and male- chauvinistic. Its not charming to be called ’baby', 'darlin', or 'sugar'. Do use pet names. I'm not your pet.

The woman up front. It’s the first thing you see. She has a bad mood and from what I saw not with everyone. My cousin has difficulty understanding some words in English and she had the audacity to ask him if he went to school and why he hasn’t learn English after I left. Super rude and moody

Took my son to get his driver's license today. The man was very rude to him didn't tell him what his need to do to get his driver's license. For someone that just turns 16 and been working so hard to get his or her driver's license. How would you know what to bring in dmv.all I am trying to say just be respectful to your youth. Thanks

This place is always crowded as so may people are coming for license related activities. However the staff are managing the crowd well and they are friendly. Apprecite thier effort during the covid time and now. !

They staff was very friendly, understanding and had a great attitude. Even after my daughter failed her first written test.

Super long wait time, no matter if there's only a couple people ahead of you. Prepare for a wait... Post Covid Update: So much quicker with an appointment, they take about a month to get but once you have one you are in and out very quickly. Still a long wait without one when busy, but that is to be expected as a walk-in.

On my most recent visit I was in and out in less than 20 minutes which is incredible considering how long it normally takes. My only complaint is that the waiting time to get an appointment was 2 months which is crazy especially if you have business that needs to be taken care of immediately you're just SOL!
