Ran into an issue with locating a title and needed to get same day assistance. Understanding most places are impacted with having enough help nowadays, I had prepared myself for an extended wait. The wait was as expected and when I reached the counter Tiffany provided my options and recommended a solution. I had to return later for notarization and she called me to the counter for the quick last step versus waiting through the line again. I watched as she helped a few people ahead of me and she worked efficiently and moved people along as quick as possible. Keep the wait times in mind when planning on going to the DMV and thanks Tiffany for the great service.

It’s still a DMV so this is 5 stars with that in mind.. That said, we got in the walk-in line for an out-of-state license at 6:15am and got right in when they opened. Took ~45 minutes after we got inside to get our temporary licenses. Even the walk-ins that got here at 8:45 were let in quickly. Pretty good compared to the 10 hours we waited at the University DMV before being sent home empty-handed yesterday. This location also has title and registration that opens at 9:00am. Would definitely come back to this location in the future.

initially I made a appointment. But by appointment I had to wait two months. So I decided to come in and wait in the line. I got here at 7:30 PM it’s 11:16 we are still in line. We’ve been in line over 4 1/2 hours in the heat. Its 96 outside today. Started to feel lightheaded so I had to go in the shade. Bring a umbrella or a chair. Just FYI

We did not get an appointment, but we went early in the morning. The staff, Ms. Vicky was very polite and her service was great. There was a technical issue and she called their support team and cleared immediately. She answered all our questions patiently.

Arrived two hours before they close and was immediately turned away stating they were not accepting anymore walk ins for the day. The woman that shouted it had zero customer service and was very rude about it. I am 9 months pregnant and this was the ONLY day I could do this before our baby is born. The lack of customer service, consideration, and efficiency was out of this world. It doesn’t matter what you do to prepare, the DMV is ALWAYS a headache or difficult in some way.

This place is horrible. I know the DMV is suppose to take forever, be unpleasant, be a total waste of time, etc…. But this place is excessive. I came in today to get a swap out of a license plate. They had about 10 stations but only two were staffed. Took almost two hours to get a new plate. They also make everyone stand the entire time in line rather then taking a number and sitting. Only reason I gave it two stars is because it was at least clean. Ridiculous

Had some title work to be done and a new vehicle to register. Wait wasn’t that bad. Tiffany was a great help and patient with us, even dealing with issues brought about by her peers for other customers. Handled everything we needed with such professionalism.

I’m torn with this one. Every person that’s ever helped me here has been outstanding. I have no complaints about the people. But they legit make the hours up as they go. I walked up at 4:55 today to locked doors and the inside gates down. Not, ‘we’re going to help this massive line of people inside which will take us to after 5 anyways’. No just ‘we did enough for today’ let’s close. People rely on and make plans around operating hours… especially official/government agencies.

I scheduled a 9:30am appointment to get my Real ID/Driver's license and I also needed to register my car and get license plates (the new to NC inauguration). I arrived 15 mins early and stood in line behind the blue tape. Written in faded chalk on the sidewalk is written which line is which. Make sure you are in the correct line at all times so you don't waste your time! Also be sure to wear a mask or you will not be serviced here. I got inside to the driver's license line by my appointment time but then there were 20 people ahead of me to get to an actual clerk. The intake lady was nice to some people and less nice to others. It took about 90 minutes before my number was called so I had time to study for the traffic sign test. My number was finally called and it took about 10 minutes to get processed for my license. This location happens to have the vehicle registration and license/tag offices in the same building!! So I hopped into the next line where I waited for about an hour to get my vehicle registered and a license plate. $500 and three hours later, I was on my way home. I recommend making an appointment online, but if you want to do a walk-in, get there at 6:30 am so you are first in line. Otherwise you'll be standing outside in the hot sun waiting for your turn to get in. Be sure to look at the website and bring all the correct forms and documents printed out. The on-site notary charges $6 per signature, cash only.

This is not your typical DMV. The staff was nice, accommodating and I was in and out in 10 minutes returning a plate and getting a new title! I went at 3pm on a Monday- only 2 people ahead of me in line. I know different services take different time but this place is well run.
