The timing was perfect. I was able to walk in with no one in front of me to wait behind. I was able to go up to the counter and turn in my paperwork and be issued plates and registration within 15 minutes of getting there. How many other DMV‘s can say that. At 60 years old I can tell you this is my first time being able to say that! this is also my first visit to this location.😊

Before eastern wake county explodes in population this is still an easier DMV to experience. Know if the Google traffic bar is reading near the dotted line, expect a 1.5 hour wait.

I never thought I would give a DMV 5 stars, but this location is wonderful. I was in and out within 5 minutes. DMV employees have a reputation of being unpleasant but the 3 employees I interacted with were very pleasant and kind.

This was the most pleasant experience I’ve had at a DMV. If I could give them 100 starts, I would! We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. No appointment is needed and there was a line in the beginning but it moved right away. We moved from out of state and were not sure what we needed to do to register our car. The staff, I wish I knew their names, were just so kind, helpful and very professional! And they even let us borrow a screwdriver so we can put our new plates on. I definitely recommend coming to this location, even if a long drive.

Best days to come here is Tuesdays to Thursday. They are short staff only 2 windows open sometimes. Be patient and line moves pretty quickly. No complaints from me.
