This store is maintained well. They have a good variety of non organic fresh veggies and fruits. Also, compared to Publix I end up always paying less after I am done shopping groceries. The only downside here is not a lot of organic veggies and fruits and even there is an option they are not fresh. There are a couple of ladies working at the checkout area and they are very friendly and kind.

Even though this location is the closest to my home, it’s my least favorite. It needs a makeover. For big grocery shopping I go to Rea Farms. The bakery is small and unappealing and produce is the most disappointing particularly the fruits and salads. On a positive note, the employees are always pleasant, especially the folks in the meat area.

My place to go for basic stuff. Pluses: good prices and quality milk, fish, meat, eggs, yogurt, bread, potatoes, some veggies and berries. Wide selection of vines and beers, decent selection of cheeses. HT pizza is good, both price-wise and quality. order ahead especially during busy hours. HT brand is good, price is good too Self-check out is a breeze. Friendly staff. One can find many items from pet food to sunscreen Negatives: Discounted fruits, veggies, berries are practically rotten. Poor discounting algorithm/metrics -- should have been a day or two earlier. This is recent change, it used to be much better. Had a chat with management on that Meat or fish on sale may be bad too, but I was able to return Do not expect to find a wide selection or good prices for fresh flowers

Customer service here is a joke... Always long lines. I watched a cashier beg for help with bagging today while 3 people watched him ring up. I have to usually use self checkout or bag my own groceries not sure the prices reflect the lack of people in the building ...

It's always a pleasure shopping at my Rae and Colony Road Harris Teeter. Kurt check me out and was the fastest cashier I have ever seen. He's very nice and represents the service I appreciate at my favorite local grocery store. Mike hand selected a prime rib for Christmas. It was the best prime rib I ever had! Great store. Wonderful customer service.

We call This the Getto Harris Teeter. While it is not that bad, it just is older, and not as nice as most of the other HT in Charlotte area. There is a Publix across the street that is newer and has a cleaner, newer feel as well. Harris Teeter has a much better meat and seafood selection than Publix. The prices are also better than Publix in the meat and seafood area as well. Deli meats are nearly the same as Publix, but overall about $1/lbs less expensive. Also, I like the subs a little better as well. But there is a smaller bread selection. Overall Harris Teeters are good supermarkets, this particular one is just older, more run down and smaller than many of the other Harris Teeters I. The area.

This store needs more cashiers. The lines are long and there’s usually 2-3 registers open. And their deli department is a nightmare. Most of the time I stand there and wait while the employees are super busy with something else (or just chatting). This hasn’t happened once or twice... this is an ongoing problem. Don’t know .. maybe hire more people for your deli department if they’re that busy? Or refresh on their training where customers come first.

I had the best!! experience with this Harris teeter bakery/deli associate Jasmine! her cake decorating skills is absolutely superb. I showed her a picture of what I wanted for my son’s 1 year cake smash photo shoot and within 24 hours; she delivered an amazing replication of the cake I wanted for my son’s photo shoot. I highly recommend her services and I will come back again, again, and again.
