This is one of my favorite places to shop. By using the store app, coupons, planning and timing a person can get really good deals on everyday items. This does make them popular and often stock will be sold out for quite a while. Heavy shopping also results in messy shelves and isles so you hunt high & low in hopes of finding what you came for. It's worth it. I highly recommend it.

It has a great variety and actually little more than most Dollar General's. The Staff are always very nice plus everything stays stocked up at this location. 5 stars!

Its good for what they have to deal with, I swear there's a dg on every corner now and they keep bringing out nice quality stuff, like by the truckload, and for 2 people to be on a shift together, thats to keep up wit customers, answer customers questions stick, clean, make sure outside is clean, ecy ect. I have to hand it to them ive only saw a few let there emotions get the best if them, but thus location in particular is one of my favorites, somewhat decent customer service, clean store, mostly always stocked and aisle blockage clear, line time is usually quick,

The store clerk was not wearing his mask correctly and engaged in a conversation with customers (who were not wearing a mask) about how he hates wearing masks and did not wear one when he wasn't at work. The customer informed the clerk that a fine would start to be givin to people in public who weren't wearing a mask. The clerk told the customer that his wife fights people when told to wear a mask. When it was my time to check out, the clerk pulled out his cell phone and made a call during the transaction. He called his wife and told her to wear a mask or she will be fined. He did not speak to me during my transaction or after. I think his name was Curtis but I didn't see his name tag well. This happened 11/23 at 4:40

What can be as much fun as going into an over crowded DG to get something they didn't even have. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE DG! It's our own little Community Mall (Hey, if DG uses that in Advertising - I get a cut). I pulled in cause there were maybe 6 cars in the parking lot, so I figured with my mask and social distancing it would be a safe quick trip. I walked in and thought, WHERE DID ALL these people come from? They're were people everywhere. I went straight back to get my Wife's decaf coffee and then it hit me - what was I thinking? Half the time Food Lion don't even have Decaf - why would I think DG would have it. THEY DIDN'T! So I turned around and headed out as straight as I came in. As I headed out the door I counted 8 cars including my own. looking back at the store as I drove to Food Lion I thought, it must be Family Night at the DG. Y'all stay Safe and Keep Your Nose Covered. Oh! DG - you really need to stock some decaf .

They are clean, keep shelves well stocked and the employees go above and beyond to help you. I DO NOT LIKE to go to the one on Fleming drive near hwy 70. You can NEVER find anything the store is ALWAYS nasty, the isles are always cluttered and most of all the employees make you feel like you are a bother to them.

The store in NEBO, NC is the nicest, cleanest, best choice of inventory store I have ever seen. The staff is very up tone and they all know where every item is. They don't tell you where things are, rather, they take you to the item. Love this store.

Pretty typical, however there are frequently long lines and they NEVER open new lines (even if another employee is wandering the store). Last time I was there everything was fine when I walked in. Five minutes later i tried to check out and no one was at the register. There were 2 other customers behind me and NO employee ANYWHERE. We all waited, called out, rang bell-NOTHING - NO ONE!! After over 5 minutes I took a picture of my purchase and the cash for it (thank God I only had $3 in products) plus tax - and walked out. I think everyone behind me did the same thing. I have to say, I hope the employees were ok. The only thing I could think of that would possibly explain it was maybe they got a stomach flu out of the blue. It was just a weird situation.

I wouldn't even wanna give it a star after the incident I had. The store manager Amy Buchanan Whitesides is the most pitiful liar known, she does not need a job that requires her to deal with the public. Especially when she don't have no self worth for herself. I'm so beside myself with how she handled matters that were not from hear say or straight facts. Dollar General is my go to store EVERYDAY. I treat it like my Wal-Mart and will always. "Shout out" to to District Manager, i think his name is Ron, for being so polite and the most patient and understanding person.

Small store. Great staff. Merchandise is overcrowded. Misplaced items frequently seen. It is good for picking up items quickly. It would nice to get a new store. That one is really old and hard to get in and out of traffic.
