My experience at food Lion goes back many years. I remember when they opened the first store. Anyway, food lion has always, as best as I remember, been one of the better in price. Publix can't say that. They wanted to charge over a dollar more for a head of lettuce. The cashier's will unload your buggy if you need or if they aren't busy. I recommend googling it. Google usually tells you what time they are busy or when is the best time of day to go. Update:. Still pretty good.

Always clean and l go to this one cause l know where most things are at. If not you just have to ask someone that works there and they can point you in the right direction. Evening l was there a policeman came in and got onto a couple for leaving a dog in the hot car. Someone had called them in and he found the couple. They had the Windows cracked but on hot days you don't need to bring your pets. Please be mindful on these hot days and leave them at home. Thank You, Newton PD for acting on this situation.

I go to Walmart in Newton all the time just because they are so close, but Food lion is my favorite.

Evening l was there a policeman came in and got onto a couple for leaving a dog in the hot car. Someone had called them in and he found the couple. Most of all the employees are very nice. It's my neighborhood food lion also never have had a problem there! They usually have everything there supposed to. Unlike Walmart these days and everything is pretty simple to find also hopes this is helpful!

I just called this store to speak to a manager to report being followed every time I go grocery shopping here and no one wanted to take my call so they hung up on me and then they did not answer the phone when I called back I am calling corporate there is absolutely no African-American or anyone else of color working at this store along with that I get followed and I've watched other black people get followed while shopping at the store and it needs to stop ,I'll be recording for now on everytime I shop there since I' have to live in the area
