In the >3-years that I've worked with The Geek & Grammar Queen staff, I've always found Leroy and his team to be extremely responsive and very professional. To say that they've been able to resolve our issues goes without saying. I'm thankful that we have a company of this calibur in Swansboro that we can rely on to resolve our computer and other technical issues. I highly recommend them!

I came into the shop in a panic and DC was able to talk me through my issue. I broke the screen of my laptop, which was over 10 years old. We talked about options and he gave me my best option to consider. He understood that my laptop has my entire business book and files needed for that business to keep moving forward. He took the time to explain the process he was going to do in order to salvage my files. I brought in a temporary laptop to see if those business files could be put onto that machine. DC was able to do this process with ease. He kept me updated during the process, since he knew that my livelihood was connected to his work. I would recommend his skills to anyone in the are having tech issues. When I am ready to look for my own laptop, DC offered to give me some insight on what I should look for moving forward. How many people offer such service like that nowadays? DC saved my day for sure!

Went to see these guys today after failing to get results on my own for a hard drive recovery. Explained the problem, the processes we tried to use, and then asked for help. DC plugged in a new cable, hooked the drive up, and it worked. Handed me the drive AND the cable and said “here you go. Have a great weekend.” And charged me nothing. THAT’s shocking customer service and I appreciate it greatly. I’m currently sitting at home downloading 11 years of files off my old laptop thanks to DC. Will definitely recommend these folks to others and use for any other problems we may have. Thank you DC!!

Fantastic computer repair crew here and you can't beat the price. Very knowledgeable and polite. Brought my Lenovo computer here to get it to boot off a new internal hard drive. Did everything I could through the BIOS and cloning the drive. These guys did it in a day and better than I hoped since they even loaded the latest windows OS! This is my new computer place go-to!

The staff is always friendly and service is top notch. I have had great turnaround times when service has been required. This year I needed to purchase a new laptop for work and photo-editing but needed it to be a PC, they came up with several options that would do exactly what I want and gave me the pros and cons of each. My family and I have purchase several laptops and desktop upgrades from The Geek and the Grammar Queen because of their reasonable prices and trusted computer expertise. We purchased a new laptop three years ago for our daughter and she continues to use it as a junior in college. I purchased a used laptop, for work, a year ago and it’s still as fast as the day I purchased it. My son will be leaving for college next year, so we'll be heading back to The Geek and the Grammar Queen for another laptop. We have never had any issues with hardware or software, I trust the staff and value their opinion and expertise regarding all my computer questions. Keep up the good work.

I recently decided to purchase a new laptop for just online school. I knew I needed something fast, with a lot of power and storage space. I already have a Asus I purchased years ago from them and it still works great. But I didn't know what kind would be best for my needs. They took the time to answer tons of questions over the phone, via email and in person . Finally I chose the model computer I now have. It is a dream . They set it up for me and explained what it can do. Their customer service went beyond my expectations. I never go to the big box stores. Why should I?
