I don't usually brag about hair stylists because I'm rarely happy with my cuts for any longer then a day or so. Also, farm life... who needs the fancy expensive cuts when you have long hair, can trim the ends, and fringe your face on your own? Well... after years and bleaching my hair finally said ENOUGH and broke off a HUGE clump after i finished coloring it. Husband said I needed to see a professional... on a Saturday... at noon... he wants me to find a salon that will take a walk-in and can fix the hole in my head! Riiiiight. 🤣🤣🤣 (There's a joke there) I'm so thankful for the lady who canceled her color appointment Keilea at Ego Hour Hair Designers on Jonestown rd. In Winston-Salem. We chatted about what happened and I asked for something to frame my long face and not part in the middle. This is what she came up with and I could not be happier with the new look! She's been in hair her whole life and it truly shows.

Ego Hour Jonestown Road is the best salon I’ve ever used. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The salon is super clean and has a comfortable but upscale feel. Danielle is a superb stylist and absolutely brilliant colorist. I’ve been impressed with all of the cuts and color that I’ve seen on other clients as well. 100% recommend. This is the best hair salon I have ever been to! I feel right at home when I walk in. I always get greeted with such a warm and friendly welcome. Keilea did such an amazing job coloring and styling my hair! She is not only very talented but extremely personable. I get so many compliments on my hair. Everyone working there seems so pleasant. Great haircut! Friendly personnel, but didn't force me into conversation while I was relaxing and enjoying my pampering. Made helpful suggestions about my and didn't try to push products on me that I didn't want or need. Appreciated more than I can say that all staff was masked properly, stains were cleaned, and rules were enforced. It was as if they really care about employees and customers.

Ego Hour is highly recommended! Both times I've went it was spur of the moment late afternoon appointments that they were able to book without any problems. Not just for a quick trim, but for multidimensional color! My stylist, Keelia, had the most amazing personality, and was extremely knowledgeable. She has experience!

Never will I go back. I had to get the girl cutting my hair to stop. She was not doing what I asked for after showing and explaining..she kept cutting shorter and shorter. When she was done, the hair was so crooked...I showed her and she went get advise from someone else, came back and wanted to keep cutting. I refused. I let her know I wasnt happy....and they made me pay for the cut???.wth??? Extra hair, a step off...not even... really...never again!

I had a great experience for the second time at Ego Hair Salon! Last time I went was about six months ago and I got a haircut and highlights (for the first time ever, might I add) by Heather and she did such a fantastic job. I was very nervous about the highlights but she did such a good job finding the perfect natural color for me! This time I went to get a haircut by Heather and she did a great job again! My hair is extremely straight and fine but I have a lot of it so it’s not the easiest to cut but she’s conquered it twice now! I highly recommend her for coloring, ladies hair cuts and I hear she does a heck of a job with men’s cuts as well. As a bonus, you get a little head massage when she shampoos your hair and who doesn’t love that!? 100% recommend!!
