I have had both my dogs 7.5yo & 6month old in private and now group classes. It has been a wonderful experience. I am becoming a more confident dog owner in knowing how to ask them to behave. My older dog was really nervous and guarded around other dogs and with group classes she is calming and more relaxed. Our walks in the park are now incredibly pleasant!! They both are much more well behaved when company comes over!! All of the instructors are so knowledgeable and patient with dogs and humans 😄 There has not been an issue that I have had with my dogs that they have not had a exercise to improve behaviors!! We are continuing with group classes now and each week we learn something new!! Would recommend to anyone!!

I had tried YouTube videos, advice from other family and friends who are dog owners and had been through multiple cheap dog training classes with no avail for my very timid and separation anxiety-ridden 1.5 year old bloodhound/Australian cattle pup. After the first day of training, I already saw a difference in her behavior and leash walking, so I texted our trainer, Josh, right away. I was blown away after day 1! From that day on, I saw improvements daily. Thanks to Josh for being readily available to answer texts and calls, answering my questions after her day training sessions, and matching my pup’s energy, I could not be happier with the outcome we’ve had. When my pup and I go on walks, people stop and say “I wish my dog was that good” or “wow, your dog is so well-behaved.” Seeing my pup happy and relaxed makes me so happy. I would recommend sit means sit to anyone who wants to spend the money and put in the work because consistency and patience are key! Thanks Josh and the rest of the sit means sit crew! I’m so thankful 😊

I am so happy to hear wonderful success stories from this facility. However, this has been weighing on me for years and I feel very inclined to share my story. I inherited a dog that was taken to Sit Means Sit for training. To clarify, I knew her before they took her there, but she just wasn’t mine yet. When she came back, I saw the videos of the “training” and she didn’t look like the same dog. she was skinny, malnourished looking, and just terrified all the time. My mom took care of her and she eventually got better and was no longer ill. I know incidents happen and dogs get sick. But I have had her for 5 years now and she is permanently petrified of everything. I’m so grateful to be her owner because I know how to handle her and care for her properly. But still, any little noise or movement just scares her to the point of shaking. She was not this way before. We have come a very long way since then, but not nearly the same dog.. In the pit of my gut, I know this place affected her negatively. I’m sure some dogs do great with this type of training, and I am so happy that people are pleased with the work here. But I just needed to share my story because some dogs just don’t do well with this type of training. Just be in tune with your dog and make sure you are being a part of the training in every way you can.

Henri graduated from Sit Means Sit today! He is a completely different dog. We still have some work to do on walks, but he's done very well. I'm so proud of him and thankful for our trainer Josh. He did a fantastic job! It's expensive but totally worth the investment.

We signed our 9 month old lab puppy up for the distraction plus program. The trainers are miracle workers - after his first lesson, he was able to walk nicely on his leash and hold a "place". We have followed the homework and put in the training time at home throughout the weeks. It truly has made a difference in our relationship with our puppy. We can't say enough thanks to Colleen and everyone else at Sit Means Sit. Definitely a "get what you pay for" experience.

Love Sitmeanssit. More importantly so did our dog, Jake. He was so excited to go there on Saturdays. He loves his trainer, Taylor. All of this is important but so is how it affected our life at home. He knows what is expected and knows he is loved. This is not a shock collar experience for a misbehaving dog. This is a training facility. What I love is the training and connection will continue. We can take classes and they will continue to give us private lessons to help us with problems that come along the way. Well worth it. We have a very happy dog and a very happy house.

We had a positive experience bringing our 5 month old German Shepherd to Sit Means Sit. We are first time dog owners, so their expertise was very helpful. Colleen was great with our pup and answered any questions that We had. Our dog’s behavior in our home has improved significantly over the last 4 weeks.

Colleen is outstanding! She trained our Klee Kai in a way that was unique and pleasant. We are so pleased with Sit Means Sit and the staff. They have trained two dogs for us and we absolutely recommend this company to anyone who wants their dog to have some training.

This business is amazing. I have a beagle puppy who is very stubborn, and I couldn’t train him at all on my own. I was nervous about getting him trained, and Josh and Kevin at Sit Means Sit made it fun for Remi, and my dog is a different dog now, but it a good way!!! Thank you to everyone at Sit Means Sit, and we are looking forward to our first group class this Saturday!

My wife attended an introductory session. The parking lot was icy (unsalted) and she fell trying to bring in our dog in. Once inside the trainer proved he could not conduct himself in a manner that connected to her or the dog. He was afraid of our dog but insisted that once they were alone, he'd be in control (shudder to think how). He barely introduced himself to my wife and did little or nothing to show concern about the parking lot. Instead he complained about his own injured foot. My wife left the appointment early because of his apparent incompetence and apathy. I am glad she did leave because later, I found out from a friend that they had hired the company and paid thousands of dollars for them to repeatedly shock their dogs into submitting. The trainers insisted the shock collars were a form of positive reinforcement (?). My friend discontinued their services when she discovered that the positive reinforcement was leaving wounds on her dog's neck that required veterinary attention. These may not be conducive of all experiences but based on these, I could not recommend this business. EDIT: removed misplaced word "of" EDIT 2: reply to the owner's response...I see no responsibility accepted in this response. Potential customers please take note.
