The four star rating is based on the calamari appetizer (very good) & the dragon roll. The pineapple fried rice was terrible. It was greasy and flavorless. I’m hoping it was an outlier on an otherwise great restaurant.

My friend took two bites of her food, didn’t like it (poorly seasoned and had way too much breading/fried part), and so we told the waitress and she was like “well you ordered it…” 🤷♀️ Clearly, this place needs a lesson on empathy and customer service. I own a business myself and if any of my customers were to ever say they didn’t like the quality of my service, I would apologize and ask them how I can make things better for them. That is called good customer service! Saying “well you ordered it” is basically like saying “that’s not my fault, sounds like a you problem”. When I approached the server about how we didn’t appreciate her response to our concern, she still showed no empathy and had nothing redeemable to say except that “the cost of food right now is high, so you have to make sure to read things over twice before ordering so you know what to expect.” I get that, but if food comes out and it’s different from our expectation (which it was in this case!!), the restaurant should do SOMETHING to make the experience better for the customer. First time going AND last. They just lost a customer who would’ve been pretty loyal if the place was decently run since I do love me some Asian food! Just be cautious, you better like what you order, cause they don’t do comps or refunds, and should you be dissatisfied, they will gaslight you into thinking it’s your fault and your fault alone… not theirs.

My son and I visited this location this past Sunday, and we were not disappointed. All the dishes we had were wonderful. This was some of the best asian cuisine we have had in quite sometime. Nothing was greasy or overly salty. It was also one of the better restaurant experiences we have had in a few months. The staff was friendly and attentive.

My only mistake was thinking the fried rice was for one person 😳 it was so good and the pineapple aesthetic was a nice touch! This was my second time here and honestly, there’s just so many choices I can’t wait to go back! Update: nearly three years later, it’s still delicious! This time got the Buckeye Roll sushi as a starter and found my new favorite sushi roll. Still a 5/5 for sure.

Sushi was okay. the place when u walk it squeeks and was dirty, so were the tables. got a bowl of soup and what threw me off was that they avtually put brocolli in it. We thought it was baby bok vhoy or something, but it really was brocolli. they put a lot of veggies and little meat and other assortments. the fry noodles were good but the shrimp that varies in size from entree to entree was off putting. Don't get the shumai its a scam and looks store bought frozen packaged and has no flavour.

Listen, I RARELY give 5 stars. They have to earn it. Seriously impressed here on many levels. Food came much quicker than expected. Everyone enjoyed their different entrees & apps of spring rolls & edamame. Entrees include soup or salad. Fresh lettuce but too much of the ginger dressing. Lots of sushi options. The service was great on a busy Saturday evening. All staff and manager were friendly and welcoming. Would come back.

Wild Ginger was a great experience. What I like most is the amount of vegetarian/vegan options they have! I feel like it’s not always easy to find vegetarian food at an Asian restaurant, but they had a full menu filled with tasty options. The environment was very welcoming and the server was fantastic. Super nice guy. The food was pretty great, I enjoyed the Thai Curry with tofu! The curry could have had a little more flavor, but overall a great meal. A lot of flavor and a lot of great vegetables.

What a friendly experience. Right when we arrived the staff was nice and helpful, we brought the kids and they had a great time. We enjoyed all the soups, crispy duck, and Samba Samba. We found it while driving though town and we are hopeful to go back next time we are around. Family friendly but I did not see a changing table in the bathroom.

My 3rd visit to Wild Ginger and I cannot explain how wonderful everything we sampled tasted. I cannot wait to come back to try new things on my next visit! Amazing table service, the sushi Chefs were incredible and worth every penny. Look no further for your sushi and sashimi needs in Columbus.
