From poor customer service, lack of product knowledge and the sheer headache of trying to use this ridiculous store card, they dint accept payments in store and the website is constantly down, when trying to ask an employee how to pay easiest we were treated with irritation and dismissed. Like how dare I expect them to provide any type of service? Shady customer service practices combined with Convoluted automated systems and error-prone website payment services, I will never ever allow anyone in my family to frequent Ulta beauty.

I went here for what was advertised as a "curly cut" because I have wavy hair. The first thing the stylist did was dry brush my hair so it was a frizzy mess then take a "before photo" (which is a horrible misrepresentation of what my hair looks like regularly). Then he sprayed it down to cut it (curly cuts are normally dry cuts), recommended a curl-relaxing product during the cut, took two hours to cut my hair, and then blow dried and straightened at the end. I literally left my "curly cut" with straight hair, you're supposed to leave with curlier hair? The actual cut itself was fine which is the only reason I'm giving two stars instead of one.

They talked me into opening a credit card but have refused to get me the card. They refuse to update my information in their computers and I've had to call them several times and still my address and email are not up to date. They sent me to collections and screwed up my credit score because I won't make a payment until I get my card.. it's been 3 months now and still They don't know how to do their jobs.. Shelves are always empty anyway. Closing my account and will never shop their again. Sephora is way more professional and knows how to mail credit card out to their customers.

Megan use to do my eyebrows (and before her Jack). They both did such a great job with my brows. Unfortunately both have moved on, and recently Megan has left as well. The new person didn’t even do the eyebrow mapping that Benefit Brow usually does and my eyebrows look terrible. The new girl seems super new and it felt like my eyebrows were used for her training. She took so much longer than what’s usual, and even left the wax too long that the skin was left feeling tender, and I felt bad that I needed to ask her to keep doing changes. I finally just gave up, paid my fees even though I HATED my brows, and will just not come back. The girl didn’t even trim them. I hate to have to leave this review for I have had such great experiences in the past (between Jack and Megan), and especially in the salon with Archie. But the brow bar definitely needs an experience aesthetician. I’m just so terribly upset for I have engagement pics next week and have to figure out how to get these brows fix so last minute. I’ve been going to the benefit brow bar for almost ten years (in two separate locations). NEVER have I left crying over how terrible my brows look. *edited to add pictures of the burn. The darker one is from today, about 24 hours after I went to get my brows done.

Staff is always friendly and super helpful. They help me match my make-up and have never steered me wrong. I drive out of my way for this location.
