You can find deals sometimes. However lately I feel this place should be renamed Three quarter priced books.

Half priced books used to be a favorite of mine but it seems, with everything else, the price isn't what it used to be. Or maybe my memory is skewed. I've looked at brand new books that have been cheaper than what half price is charging. Still it's enjoyable to browse.

This Half Price Books is a germaphobe’s wet dream. Myself, I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed the experience at a bookstore less. The signs addressing distancing, which are on every conceivable surface make one feel as if they’re in a communicable disease ward.. not a bookstore. I support your employees doing what’s right for themselves by personally masking, etc… But it’s not your customers fault if we’re not aware their neurosis extends to pens.. Especially when we know all these years later, coronavirus is not transmitted via surfaces. Their eye rolls over their tight fitting masks and heavy sighs of disappointment are little over the top. If their fears about a virus we’ve been living with for years are still this strong, perhaps public sales positions are not for them. And, don’t ask them any questions… they hate those almost as much as coronavirus. Life goes on, folks. Bring back your welcoming, comfortable, bookstore, please.

Love this chain store, there at least 4 times a week. Lot's of music, books ect. Workers are super helpful and friendly.

I loved their low prices and the feeling you get when you walk into the store. Although, I didn't buy anything they did have books I wanted--but some books (say a manga) had missing volumes, but it's to be expected, I suppose.

- not a bad place for books, games, vinyl records etc. - staff hit or miss some friendly others kinda judgy. - place was clean and organized. - prices range from good to a bit over priced depending on items you're looking for. - overall not a bad place to check out.
