The staff gets 5 stars, however the one star is for the vet. He did not interact well with our dog and he made us feel very uncomfortable. It is possible that he is knowledgeable, so if you can deal with his personality, this might be a decent place. I prefer a vet who truly cares about our pet and has better customer service skills.

Care, compassion, and thoroughness characterize Dr. Tongish and his practice. It is wonderful to have a vet I trust with my beloved furbabies.

I love this vet. As long as we live here I will never take my dog anywhere else! He is educational, accommodating, and friendly. He won’t push procedures on you, and he gives a range of options and costs for your pet’s care. The staff have great communication, and my dog loves them.

Had great experiences with all of our animals since moving to the area, most recently with our oldest lab who got in a fight with another of our dogs and needed immediate surgery. They did a great job fixing her up and she is feeling much better!

When I first went to the clinic they were wonderful! I decided when my cat needed to go I would take him there. This experience was anything but. I understand with Covid the pick up from car. However, once they took my cat back I did not hear anything from them until they came back out 45 minutes later. I took my cat in for a urinary issue. I was never contacted about if it was ok to sedate my cat (10 lbs. No claws) or any of the procedures they did. Since they couldn't find anything in the urinalysis, they decided to draw blood, give him vaccines (he's an indoor cat, never ever goes outside), for some reason he came out with a shaved neck and two puncture wounds. I was never informed the total she just asked for my card. When she came back out with my cat and bill I was SHOCKED. $445. They could not find anything wrong so kept trying other things until they COULD. Which they never ended up doing. So I had received a very large bill for a perfectly fine cat. I was very disappointed that I was not contacted during any of this to make sure it was ok. They gave him multiple injections and sedations that I did not approve of. Extreme lack of communication and it seems to me they just wanted to do whatever to get my bill higher. Luckily the only thing they did ask is if I wanted the blood work ran, which they already drew because he was sedated. I am VERY disappointed in this clinic and will not be returning.

I am giving this place only one star because the receptionist at the front desk was very pleasant the numerous times I had to continue to go back due to such poor quality of vet care I received at Granger Veterinary Hospital. My original post was deleted so I feel obligated to let customs know the experience I had so they don’t make the mistake I made. My dog had a massive surgery there in October of 2018 that almost caused her to die. My dog ended up with a horrible infection right after the surgery, then I was told that the only one antibiotic that could cure the infection had to be mailed ordered from the lab they use in Texas. After ordering the antibiotics from Texas and paying extra overnight shipping they still did not arrive until 6 days later. I then found out the Hospital in Copley Ohio a 10 minute drive away had them in stock. Keep in mind this was after being told no one had this medication. This place did not care when I informed them of the poor condition my dog was in after being in their care, nor did they return any of my emergency calls I made the 3 times I called at 5:30p. Let’s also not forget to mention the quote of $1200 that ended up to be over $6000. Hopefully this rating does not also get removed as my last rating did. I am a reasonable person that expected a veterinarian to be compassionate and care about my dog, this place is all about collecting $$$. They did not even call once during the weekend my dog had the massive surgery then due to no drainage being put in after the surgery the body had no where to let the fluid out which caused my dog not to be able to walk and caused the horrible infection. $450 later which they charged me for draining her leg due to the massive fluid build up. Very bad care and huge delays in test results . My dog has been thriving ever since I changed vets. I was also told the 2 tumors were cancer free when in fact one of them was not and I had to have another surgery 3 months later. I will continue to post my review each time it gets deleted due to this establishment not wanting customers to know the truth. This is my rating and my experience it should not be deleted.

Dr. Tongish is like the dog whisper, I was so impressed with how he handled my not so friendly Dog. I’m so grateful that a dear friend recommended such a great hospital. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for an honest and caring staff. 💕🐶

We needed have our little old pooch put to sleep. After a long absence from this facility, they still had a record of us and gave us a good price. Both the doctor and assistant were very professional and comforting throughout this procedure. While this was very painful for us, they truly did their best to get us through it, and we are grateful.

We had to have our 14 year old cat put down and had never used this facility prior to that incident but they accepted us with open arms and did the nasty task as our own veterinarian does not put down animals. Not only were they the most compassionate people we ever dealt with but afterwards even sent us a beautiful letter of condolence and no; it wasn't from a business point of view but rather of a very caring facility. I would highly recommend this facility for all your pet needs.
