There are not enough cashiers working at the registers, but there are plenty of workers watching the self-checkout lanes and standing around. Plus there are only a few self-checkout registers open, and then they still have issues. A worker watched me put all my merchandise on the conveyer belt and when I told her it wasn't working she replied, "oh yeah it's broken". I said that it might be a good idea to put a sign up letting people know and she told me with a snarky attitude that they aren't allowed to tape anything on the registers, or she would have already done it. Because I've had issues with the service before I've been going to Checotah Walmart, but tonight I thought McAlester Walmart had to have gotten better. I was proved wrong. So back to Checotah and othe local stores for a quick trip.

If all Walmarts closed for a day, Americans and our way of life would be turned upside down. We wouldn't know how to act. We'd be in a universal hurt of extreme magnitude, disproportionate to anything else the world has ever seen. We thought the globally catastrophic tsunamis were bad in the far east? Those would sorely pale in comparison to all Walmarts across the US closing down for one day. Americans would believe that the end of all things is here. Sorry folks, just doing a little thinking out loud. Enjoy your Walmart. 😁

We had a negative experience and bought a raft, got to our cabin and realized it was missing the oar and pump. We drove back and Jack was less than helpful but Hannah at customer service was amazing! She helped us look until she was out of options. We had to get a more expensive raft which normally would have been frustrating but her customer service was awesome and we appreciate her! Also Edward in fishing licenses was so great, too! Give these employees a raise! Thank you Hannah and Edward!

They need more cashiers and they were remodeling so certain departments were closed off but they tried to move things people might need to the outside . on a normal day though its fairly easy to get in and put of this place if you go early morning and not on a SNAP day. although not to Everyone's liking self check out is available

I'm one of the people that scope out everything- I like to just walk around and look at stuff until something actually catches my eye of course I always buy the stuff that I need and Walmart's the place for that, but Walmart's also a place where you can just go check out the cool stuff no matter what category it's in or what department I like Walmart

Teresa is one of the rudest employees at any place I've ever seen. She always goes out of her way to show how much she hates her job and everyone who goes through her line. Makes me feel like a bad person for trying to buy groceries! As if I'm sinning by getting in her line! The most recent time I went to this Walmart, Teresa and another employee named Hannah went out of their way to be rude to both me and my boyfriend, I could literally hear them talking about us and giggling to themselves, and Teresa rolled her eyes and laughed when I pulled out an ebt card to pay for my groceries. All of the other employees at this Walmart have always been kind, and I never write negative reviews, but this has been bothering me all week. I'll drive to the Walmart in checotah before I go back here ):

I called previously about money services and was told that they stayed open till around 11pm. I traveled to the store and was told by an associate that they closed at 8pm. I arrived at 8:25pm. I apologized that I was given wrong information but didn't get the name of that associate. I was still waiting on by this associate which I was grateful and thanked her over and over. I appreciate being waited on.

Don’t use their pick up service. Today I was missing several items from my order. I tried to call the pick up department to have this fixed, but it kept going through to the main line. The woman on the other end was rude and sounded annoyed as if it was my fault. I finally got through to a voicemail. I wouldn’t usually be annoyed but this is the 100th time I’ve had items missing from my order. Sometimes it’s only been 1or two small items that I haven’t bothered to chase down, but today I’m missing at least $40 worth of items.

Hire front end employees! Open more checkout lanes...I can't stand self service checkout lanes...put people to work! I have a philosophy...if I checkout & bag my own items...then I should get 75% reduced price!

Semi Affordable prices, good customer service, don't feel discriminated in this establishment. Usually they'd always stare at me rudely. Thus I feel comfortable shopping here.
