This is my first time ever using a storage unit. Getting it set up was super easy. Checking out was super easy. BUT, they unethically raised my rate from 105 to 169 after 6 months. That is an insane and unfair increase. No reason for it other than they know they can get away with it because once you move all your stuff into a storage building, it isn't easy just to move it all out and find a better deal. This was price gouging at its worst. I called and complained and they said they raised the price based on the market and review it to see if I qualified for a reduction. Of course, they decided I deserved the 75% increase. Very very sad, I would not recommend them. But I imagine all self storage places are like this.
