Do not use this company for any reason. I did not listen to the other people on this review and am paying for it now. Not only will they not hold up their end of the contract, about time of delivery and pick ups, but when you try to get a complaint resolved there is a never ending maze of promises and "teams" that will look into it and contact you at a later date. Neither of these things will happen. Every person you talk with will continue to say they have done all they can do, without any resolution. I have had 3 empty PODs sitting in my driveway for a month with multiple scheduled pick up dates and each time the driver never shows. The best part is they charged me rental fees for the empty PODs that they won't pick up. Again don't use this company, use any other company, you will be sorry if you use them Update (9/30/22): Still have the three empty PODs sitting in my driveway blocking my garage. Was guaranteed they would be gone by the end of the week. Looks like another broken promise. Called PODs line filled out all the required forms again! Again do not use this company!!! Update (10/6/22): Still have the empty PODs sitting in my driveway blocking my garage. Was told last week that they would be picked up on 10/5/22. Again no communication from the driver that they were not going to make it and again no communication on next scheduled pick up. Will have to spend another hour on the customer service line explaining the situation again to someone new, just to fill out the same forms again. I repeat not use this company!!!

All contact with pods employees was good. Very nice and considerate. Only issue was the delayed delivery. Booked in July, scheduled delivery date was 9.6.22, on 9.5.22 got a call advising of delay to 9.21.22. Unacceptable. Two phone calls to pods got it delivered 9.13.22...still 7 days late no compensation for delay. Otherwise container was good, drivers were good and personable. Customer service and sales were good as well.

I used PODS to move from Oklahoma to California. Everything started out great, my POD was delivered on time. I used a service provided by PODS called City Service that helps when moving to a city with no driveway or parking. I scheduled my delivery two weeks in advance and had a confirmation number. The morning of the delivery, I called to check on the order and they had no record of my order. After plenty of conversations with a rude employee, I was transferred to another employee who told me the quickest I could do would be the next day. She then told me to hold on and introduced brand new information about needing a parking permit for the truck. Since I would need a permit, it would be about another week before they could deliver my POD. I had to end up renting a UHaul, drive where my container was stored, load everything up in the UHaul, and then unload it at my apartment. I will never recommend PODS to anyone because of the headache I went through.

So my 3 POD storrage units were schedule to be delivered this morning at 10 am. At 9:50 I receive a call from PODS telling me tha not only will my storge units not be delived today, but in addtionn they won't be arriving now for another 8 days. The representative told me that she was just notified this morning from the local POD delivery of the delay. I'm a business owner myself and I totally understand that things happen. So I typically the first person tha is willing to get over it. However this is totally unacceptable. You cannot tell me that a POD represenative could not determine until the schedule day of delivey that they won't be able to make it happen, but at the same time, they can tell me that they have a new delivery date 8 days from now. My wife and I have both taken off work today, so lost wages for both of us. In additon, I have arranged for movers to help load everything over the weekend. Totally unacceptable.

If I could give them negative stars I would. They seem great when you start the process but be warned your household items may not show up for weeks! Your account will most likely be overcharged and customer service is a joke. I am looking into joining a class action suit to try to get back the money they overcharged my account. Please don't use this company!!

BE CAREFUL IF TIME MANAGEMENT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU--This has been a complete nightmare. The pickup of the full POD went pretty smoothly. However, the delivery of my stuff to my new homesite was horrific. Scheduled for 7 am-10 am, no show. Email stating delay with a window of 10;15 to 1;15, no show. I called, but no resolution, no new info on ETA, a promise of a callback, no callback. I was told, however, that I did not need to be present for delivery. I explained the reason I used the service was to get climate-controlled storage for items and because it was over 100 degrees and the POD needed to be offloaded once delivered. I called again around 4 pm as my movers and I had sat in heat since 6:30 am, got a gentleman that went the extra mile, and finally got someone as I got a call from a driver who stated he would be there in 45 min. He did arrive in about an hour; very curious to me that the storage center was approx. 45 min from the delivery location!!! Once set correctly, it was offloaded immediately because of temp-sensitive stuff. Pickup of the container was scheduled for today (for over a month), and I received an email yesterday evening window was again from 7 am to 10 am today. NOW THEY decided this morning at 5:43 am (by email and not requested by me) that the pickup would be on 9/6. I have other scheduled work at the new house that is being hijacked because that changed this pickup date ( by 19 DAYS!!) I have talked to two customer service reps who have limited resources to resolve or are poorly trained. Just people that answer phones. I am sorely disappointed and will NEVER recommend or use this service again. Bottom-line pickup/delivery schedules mean nothing to PODs, and that lack of management causes chaos for the customer due to all the scheduling they are executing in their moves, etc. Not to mention erroneous billing that probably occurs since they use auto pay. UPDATE 8:59M -I am now being told that it will be picked up tomorrow. Suspicious because when I originally scheduled this, I was told that they only pick up and deliver on Tuesday and Thursday. I will once again update how that goes and am currently gathering all previous communication so I can refute any charges that they try to charge for going past my month. You can see others have paid additional charges due to PODs changing dates on the customer without consent.

Company is a joke. Billing issues schedule issue. Can't talk to a supervisor due to other customers waiting. Poor excuse for a business. We went with you to save money. Next time I'll pay more to avoid the terrible service. It is true you get what you pay for.

I left a bad review with pods because things weren't going good with them but after speaking with the right people they made it right with me with no hassles and the they still need improvement on some customer service appointment settings and better communication on dropping off and picking up pods. Other than that you guys are ok in my book.

Our experience with our pickup in the Charlotte area went very well. The delivery on the Oklahoma City area end has been a disaster. First of all they only deliver and pick up on Tuesdays & Thursdays in this area which is ridiculous. When I went to schedule the delivery there were no dates within a week of my closing so we had to wait a week to get our stuff. We requested an exception to accommodate an earlier date with the agent we spoke with on the phone. She indicated that we would hear from the local office if the could accommodate the request. We never heard from anyone. The night before they were set to deliver I received confirmation emails that both pods would be delivered on schedule the following meeting. One pod arrive and I received an email that stated there was a change to my account and directed me to log in to my account. Much to my surprise, Pods had rescheduled the delivery of my second Pod to over a week later without explanation. I initially tried the chat function on the site to find out what was going on but that was a fail. I kept getting disconnected from my chats. I then picked up the phone and waited 30 minutes to speak with someone. When I finally got an agent I explained the situation and she placed me on hold in order to contact the local site to get additional information. After waiting for over 20 minutes my call was disconnected. I never heard back from that agent so I called again. Again I waited for over 30 minutes to speak with someone. Finally I was able to get someone on the line. He indicated that someone on their end made an error in the system and that unfortunately there is nothing that they could do and I would have to wait until the revised date that they picked to get my stuff . I asked to speak with a leader to escalate. After waiting another 20 minutes the agent came back and said there were no leaders available( surprise…surprise) and that a manage would call back in 20 minutes. I am still waiting to hear from the leader while I sit in an empty house. Completely unacceptable service. Update: it’s been over 2 months since I have heard from anyone at PODs about my claim and come to find out I was charged over $1300 in transportation fees for a mistake that PODs made. Second Update: Still no contact from PODs about my claim. Nobody returns my calls and I have never received the $1300 that I was charged for their mistake.

Initial delivery was great. Scheduling moving and pickup was challenging. Had to call 3 times before a reached the person who could help. Definitely liked being able to pack over time infatuation of doing it all in one day.
