Had a great guided trip! Wyatt and Josh were great guys to me and 5 buddies. They had great communication and helped us new anglers out with everything. We all caught fish, learned a ton and had a great experience. I highly recommend Fly and Field, and especially Wyatt and Josh!

Josh and Braden were absolutely fantastic on our half day experience. We met at the store to get fitted for boots (save time for shopping!) We then headed up to East Lake in the Newberry Volcano which was an easy walk from the car for any groups who don't want to do a lot of hiking. We a wide variety of skill levels from first timers to a retired guide and they adapted to each. Highly recommend for anyone looking to try out fly fishing or wanting to take their skills to the next level! These guys are true professionals and we all had a blast.

Wyatt and Eli were awesome guides. They took our family (two adults and three kids ages 7, 9, and 11) out for a half day wading experience. It was our first time fly fishing and they made the experience relaxed, fun, and educational. And we caught some great trout! Couldn’t recommend them more!

Fly & Field Outfitters is the place to go for all your fly fishing needs in Bend. I had the privilege of going on a guided tour of the Crooked River with Thadeus/Thad on July 18. Thad shared some of his lifelong experience with my father in law and I. It was my first time fly fishing and I brought in more than a handful of beautiful rainbow trout. Thad made that possible and now I have a new hobby because of him. I can’t wait for my next fly fishing adventure with Fly & Field Outfitters!

Sean and Eli were great guides! We did two half day trips on the Crooked and Fall rivers which was good for beginners and experienced fisher persons. The guides helped us perfect our techniques and catch lots of fish. They really made four hours on the water each day very enjoyable. Catching lots of fish helped too😁! Would highly recommend.

My dad and I booked a guided fly fishing trip through Fly and Field, while vacationing in the Bend / La Pine area (we're from New England). We met up with Sean, who brought us out to the Crooked River, and got us straight into at least a dozen beautiful rainbows. Despite neither of us ever having fly fished western rods before, his instruction was flawless, and had us making great drifts in just the first few minutes. We doubled before either of our fifth cast!! Sean is an awesome dude, very kind and personable, and spending the day with him was truly a pleasure. As a bonus, he even hooked us up with some excellent recommendations for local restaurants to check out, while we were in town. Can't recommend enough if you're in the area, and want to check one off the bucket list!

Incredible day on the Crooked River fly fishing near Prineville, Oregon. Fly & Field accommodate our last minute booking for a half day excursion. The office staff was very hospitable and organized. Bradon, our guide was so knowledgeable and patient with us. He made the whole experience so enjoyable and easy.

Great experience at a fair price. We had a fantastic time, all for a reasonable price. Thad, our guide was an excellent teacher, and knew exactly when to teach, and when to be quiet and let my son work on his casting. The team at the store welcomed us warmly, patiently answered all our questions and genuinely engaged us. Highly recommend this place. I asked my 17 year old son what he wanted to buy as a souvenir from our trip, and he said a hat from Fly and Field, no hesitation. A big 👍 from me and my 17 year old son.

Oregon is supposed to be trout fishing heaven so I wanted to expose my kids (8 & 9) to it and Fly and Field had a great guided package for 4 of us. We went a day early to the shop (the shop is beautiful) to get outfitted and the next morning when we met Braden at the shop we were ready to go. We followed him for about 45 minutes to the Crooked River and he had all the gear set up for us. We changed into our waders, grabbed the poles and headed down to the river. Wish fishing was always this easy! Braden was a great teacher. He explained the river and its contours, the fish and what they eat and how to effectively cast. Even my girls got it pretty quickly with his help. We only took one break for lunch and Braden had some great sandwiches and snacks for us but I really wanted to get back on the river. He saw that and let me know that I could take my time and that we would get a full day on the water no matter how long we took for lunch. I got 3 trout and a couple of white fish, my wife got 2 trout and my girls got 1. I could have stayed out there forever but the temp was dropping and the family went into the car so I reluctantly left before getting yelled at. Definitely a first class operation run by people who really know their stuff. Hopefully next time I can do a Deschutes drift fishing trip next time!

I had the chance to take a group of 8 colleagues out an a half day trip yesterday. Shawn and Josh were our guides and they were excellent. May in the group had never fly fished before. They really gave them the time they needed to get them comfortable and capable. Those of us who had experience were able to learn some things as well. I can't recommend this fly shop enough. The staff in the shop and out in the field are top notch.
