Unbelievable. You would think you're bothering them at home the way they react to request for help. The techs and front line staff (basically everyone who is not the doctor) was rude and dismissive. On top of all that, they didn't order the correct prescription and then refused to rush the order or discount my next pair.

I have bought eye glasses at costco for 25 years and always had decent luck. last time I bought 3 different pair. took all three pair back to use the frames for one new pair thinking one of the frames would and without really looking at them I was told they wont use the because they were old and they couldn't. use not even one. I get the feeling they get a commission on new frame sales. they used a frame once before. I will be changing providers as I think they are liars. they proclaimed the lens company wont put new lenses in worn out frames. all three frames were less than 1 year old

I have been frustrated for several years after going to 2 other Eye Care Centers and not getting the correct prescription. I had an appointment with Dr Mabry the other day and she took the time to find out what I used my glasses for, gave me a complete eye exam, and took the time to walk me to the Optical Department and explain to them what exactly I needed. The cost for my eye exam AND 2 pairs of progressive lense glasses was barely more than my last eye exam (only) at another office. I highly recommend them, and Dr Mabry in particular.

Price is good, doctors are friendly, glasses selection is good. Customer service for entire Vision Center crew is horrendous. Don't try calling them either, just as bad on phone as in-person

Dr. Angela Barnes is amazing!! Spent hundreds on an exam thru Cataract & Laser, new prescription was never right, finally went to Costco 8 months later got a different prescription which works so much better AND found out I have cataracts. Angela went beyond even putting me in a pair of "cyborg" glasses to ck the new prescription before ordering. Funny how the highly paid experts at C&L didn't mention it. Now I have a referral from Angela for corrective surgery.

The gals who work the Vision Center are suppose to be trained in basic repairs; replacing missing screws, adjusting side arms, etc.. Unfortunately, the evening I visited CENTRAL POINT the gals were all thumbs! They damaged my frames because they didn't recognize them as a COSTCO purchase. "These don't look like COSTCO glasses." "They'd been purchased more than a few years back." We don't do tint." "I know, I took them to an optometrist who tints lenses." Seriously?! If there were any cause for the unwarranted 'personal bias" these ladies demonstrated I can't think of it. One lady who's name starts with a B and an older blond co-worker couldn't even replace a missing screw?! Neither correctly fitted the left lens back into place! A pair of managers, N & A, were provided details and both acted disinterested to my chagrin of having my glasses damaged just days before Christmas?! I've visited several COSTCO Vision Centers and have never experienced the CARELESSNESS conflicting with the reputation Members trust.

Best pair of glasses I've had to date. I'm also very impressed with only waiting a matter of days to pick up my glasses, walked in with my prescription and placed order on a Monday and was called on the following Friday.

The pair of glasses I got had a pretty bad prescription and I didn't know that for a day or so.and of course you can't bring them back so I went in to get another exam and the doctor was angry with me saying "I didn't know you wanted to see up close too you should have told me that". He never mentioned that I would only be able to see distance. I'm stuck with the glasses, can't afford a new pair.

I read all of the bad reviews and felt compelled to add my review. The optometrist, Dr. Hunt, was lovely and very thorough the office staff was efficient and extremely helpful. Then came the picking of the frames and getting help ordering my new glasses. The frames I had picked out were returned to the shelf as they were unsuitable to the prescription and how they sat on the bridge of my nose. The young man who helped me, Nino, wound up picking my frames and they were exactly right. I'll get my glasses in a week and unless the lenses are really messed up my review is 5 star. Excellent service from a knowledgeable staff.

I have been getting glasses at Costco for several years. The last two pair of glasses I got have been poor quality. First one the lenses did not fit the frame and you could see space between the lenses and the frame which made them pop out when cleaning. The second the bifocal lines was so far off they had to twist the frame out of shape to get close the way it should be. I was told that there is no returns and I am stuck with what I got. This is the last time I will buy glasses from Costco optical.
