Absolute worst experience of my life dealing with a bank. The online banking has nothing but problems. The credit card system has nothing but problems and locks the cards constantly for fraud even though the charges are legitimate, they can't seem to figure out the problems no matter how many people I talk to or how many people I call. The phone system when you call is doesn't work correctly, and even though you put in a business account it sends you to a non business department who ask you a bunch of security question to then tell you oh you have to have the business department and then transfers you there to start over again. On top of all of this there phone security system to text you when they think there is fraud doesn't work and never notifies you and they have no way to test it or fix it. Not once in over four years have I ever received a fraud text buy my cards have been locked probably a hundred times. I have called probably over fifty times in just the last two months to get my business credit cards unlocked. I finally have to change banks because they can not fix the problems. Just save yourself a bunch of time and headaches and avoid this bank all together.

A good bank - not too big - not too strict - seem to go beyond normal concern for their account holders. I don't have a lot of money yet they treat me with equal respect as the richer folk.😀

Key Bank on 82nd & Sunnyside Dropped the ball on getting me a new card. I Payed $25 to get a new card in 2 days, and after waiting for a call after 4 days I Called to learn I have to wait 10 DAYS to get my card because they messed up.. too bad I had to reach out to them and call learn this. it was their mess up and never called, notified, in any way to let me know. I was going to pick up a packet to see their offers and switch banks to them but now I've decided to Not switch to Key bank.

Had a account for years loved key bank but my last few transactions with I believe her name was Eva, I felt totally profiled by her, as if it’s unbelievable a black women to have that amount of money, I wanted to take cash out of my account and was told no she said she will write a check for the car I wanted to buy at that point I was being told how to spend my money or how much I can have on me I was denied my last few transactions with her at that point I just closed my accounts because I wasn’t even allowed to use my account

I am INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED in the service, rather lack of service, I've received from Keybank. In November of 2020, I was looking to make a change from a big bank to a bank that felt more local. I received an offer in the mail for $400 from Keybank to open accounts. I decided to give them a try. That was my mistake. I've had nothing but issues, from being incorrectly assessed an NSF, to being charged for a VISA debit card after multiple failed attempts to get one. Though these fees were later reversed, I am now being told I do not qualify for the offer because of the NSF, which was their error, and a direct deposit I started was NOT in the correct amount...even though I received no indication of this information each time I called to get an update on when the reward would be issued. I called their customer service number, I called the branch, no resolution. Different answer each time. Several weeks ago when I called the branch I was told that I met all the qualifications, that there was no timeline by which I had to meet the deposit amount requirement, so the reward would be issued by the end of March. NOTHING. When I called AGAIN 4/2 I was told I don't qualify and there's nothing they can do. Too bad. And, that's it. I called again today to speak to the branch manager about the problem, and was quickly reminded of the NSF...which was their fault. Had to educate that the fee was THEIR error. Ultimately, I was told I would get a call back before end of day. NOTHING, again. No resolution, no one wants to take accountability for incorrect information given that was the precipice of me not only opening my accounts but keeping my accounts open. Dishonest, and unaccountable that's been my experience with Key. I would NEVER recommend this bank to anyone!! There has to be regulations against providing incorrect information about promo qualifications.

I came in on the 28th of December. I would say that my transaction was fairly simple and uncomplicated, however the teller did not due as I asked (because he started helping another customer before he was finished helping me). He made the wrong payment amount towards my credit card and I guess tried to cancel it (apparently doesn’t know he can’t do that because nobody told him) because of this I have been waiting for 11 day’s and counting to get my money to be applied as a payment towards my credit card. I was told today that there is nothing they can do and I have to wait 4 more days and that’s not even guaranteed to get my payment applied towards my credit card by then it will be over 2 weeks. I will be moving my mortgage/business account out of that bank and I will definitely be closing out my credit card. I’m sticking with my Credit Union going forward!!!

Alex, the branch manager is awesome! I followed her from where she used to work out of, the NW 23RD branch. She is kind, honest and very patient! She obviously has been in banking a very long time because she has a wealth of knowledge & is very generous with it. I referred a friend from NYC looking to buy a home in FL. Even though she may not be able to do the loan she still talked to him to advise him. He spoke with 3 different loan officers I recommended & was beyond impressed with her & definitely wants to use her if Key can fund condos in Florida.

I’m a bit discouraged when it comes to this branch. On two separate occasions I’ve had to educate them on how to do their job. First, I had to inform them that they offered a youth/teen checking account. (As I was there to open an account for my teenage person). I pulled it up on the phone and the fellow there could not believe that such an account existed. How can you not know your own products? Then when my daughter wanted direct deposit I was provided with instruction that it needs to be filled out by the bank, not handwritten account information. I inform the teller of this, she seemed bothered and you guessed it, she hand wrote the bank information. “They’ll accept it.” Sure enough my daughter’s place of work did not accept it. So I went to a different branch to get the documents I needed for setting up direct deposit. Now all of a sudden I’m getting charged paper statements when I was receiving them online. I never changed this. It’s one thing after another. Monday morning I’m closing my account with them.

Great service every time I go in, the tellers are always friendly and helpful. I have both personal and business accounts with Key Bank and Jamie has been wonderful to deal with on the business side. Jamie has worked very hard for financing for my business and I would highly recommend this branch to anyone looking for business financing.

Called the banker for help with monthly charges. 2 bankers promised to help with the charges but after 2 weeks, still nothing. Terrible customer service. Will come in today to cancel account. I even have the privilege account with Keybank. This branch doesn't care for their customers. Take your business elsewhere.
