They have gas attendents that don't take payment so you still have to go in and wait inside . If you can't trust your employees to walk 10feet with money why should I trust them to be around my car when I'm in the store. This place screams shady.

Apparently they just don't sell gas anymore? Waited at the pump and watched for 10 minutes and not a single attendant served any of the cars. 3 other cars came and went during that time without buying gas.

Thank you so much Ashlie for your kind service and great attitude :) Ashlie deserves a raise so they can buy a home! Thanks again Ashlie!

Very pricey but convenient. The attendants here have all been nice, some more than others.

Card skimmer theft alert! 12/19/21 Waited 10 minutes at pump with no acknowledgement whatsoever. Pumped my own gas, no big deal, however………. There was a skimmer on the pump as the account card we used was wiped out within 30 minutes via micro transactions to Apple Pay. Was this related to the lack of staffing…..I don’t know, but I’ll never go back. Be careful

This place is always well staffed but the employees just don't seem to care about. The service is atrocious. Literally 30 seconds from my house but the wait to get anything done is agonizing to the point that I now drive far out of my way just to not be annoyed.

Really I feel this place does even deserve the one star All of the staff members here are completely rude and have no understanding what it's like to be out of gas.I came to this place with only $100 bill and ended up having to run out of gas because they couldn't break it. Whoever manages his place should be fired immediately. Or at the very least do better to have better staff members who at least will be polite when they're turning me away. I'm not sure of his name but whoever was at the desk tonight was so disrespectful in turning me away

This place DOES NOT HAVE GAS. The fuel dispensers are being replaced and they won’t have gas available until September 21st.

It takes a long time to get service at the cashier because there are far less cashiers than customers, and most of the cashiers provide slow service. One or two gas pumpers is usually the number of employees there will be pumping gas. Thus, it takes a long time to get service at the gas pumps. I tried pumping my own gas because of the long wait and I got yelled at. Note that you might not be able to get propane here because there might not be anybody working who knows how to pump propane, or there are only two people working at the moment. Moreover, the employees here don't provide friendly service. Many of the employees working here are new, so they seem clueless on how to operate the station. In fact, every now and then new employees start working here and the ones from before disappear. Also, the employees working here always look miserable. I've heard from past employees here and people around the area that they are constantly looking for bodies to pump gas, because pumping gas is easy to teach and do. This bodies to pump gas term means that they are looking for people who they know will quit quickly after they are hired, so they quickly only train them to pump gas and put them outside pumping gas all day to skip most of the training process and get the most use of them while they work here. If you get hired here it sounds like they will only use you as a temporary tool in their operations. It also seems like the customers here will occasionally get service from someone who is still learning how to operate the gas pumps. I also heard that sometimes the employees here don't get breaks. Sometimes this is caused by the managers here trying to cut out their breaks or pretending to forget to get their breaks. If you work at the gas pumps, the company and managers here will count bathroom breaks as your overall break, while the people who work inside can go to the bathroom as many times and as long as they want without their breaks being cut. Overall, it seems like any other workplace would have a much better work environment than this place. From what I've learned about their past employees, I'd recommend to not apply to work here. You'd be better off applying to work at any other place. From what I've heard this is a Chevron owned by corporate, so its despicable of what this Chevron station has become knowing that its owned and is run by corporate Chevron themselves. Lastly, I want to mention that there is a plaid pantry on Jantzen Beach somewhere around the target and home depot here. I would recommend people to go there to buy cigarettes and a quick snack than here. What this Chevron is missing is competition, which is most likely it is a horrible place to shop at. I heard that there is a gas station opening on the other side of this Chevron. So keep that in mind people.

Horrible employees who work here. They are rude and disrespectful. The assistant manager Deanna Spangler is rude and mean to customers. When shes mad she goes off on every customer. As for all the employees, their customer service sucks. This is the only gas station in Jantzen Beach. This makes it a place where some people have to stop by here to purchase their expensive gas. And did I mention, it takes a very long time to get gas here sometimes because there is only one or two gas pumpers working the pumps everyday. You also get the bonus of having to find a gas pump that works because many of their pumps are usually out of service. I bet Chevron probably has to settle with less preferable candidates as their managers due to many of the better workers not wanting to work here, or they quit before becoming a manager. Which is most likely one of the reasons their managers are not that great. Also, I doubt the hiring managers are hiring the right people. Which is either due to bad management, or its either due to them not having enough strong applicants who want to work here. I also want to say that I overheard some of the employees working here say that the turnover rate at this store is about 90%. If this is true, this must mean that there is something off about working here due to the high turnover rate. It might be because the employees who work here aren't paid enough for the work that they do and can't make a living off it. Which also makes me sad for them in a way and is probably the main reason why they their customer service sucks. If corporate Chevron is reading this I would start by evaluating the managers who work here, and find a plan to improve their customer service, or fire them. Then, evaluate all of the employees and do the same. Then find a way to obtain and retain strong talent. Chevron your losing customers and talent, are you going to do something about it?
