This company is horrible, my recruiter was great and the best lady ever, unfortunately they are not transparent at all. I went to orientation in California with them only to be denied bcuz I don't do graveyard hrs. I geuss that don't work for them, maybe you should put that little detail in the job outline or possibly inform the recruiters about this detail that is so important to you ppl so ppl don't waiste their time wanting to drive you idiots. I never would have waisted my time with you ppl, then they basically stranded me at their yard thankfully my family is an hr away. And yeah iv seen the drivers yall are a joke glad I got passed on .

Glad I'm not the only one after reading several reviews about there drivers. I was hit by one of there drivers and then he speed off. After three weeks of run around with this company they won't do anything about it and deny it. This was a hit and run and they deliberately put it off for three weeks! Scammers! BTW, Oregon state law is over $2500.00 in damage to file a police report. They don't even know the laws. Update 9/2. I did call your risk department and they denied it because it was the tire of the truck that hit my car and no damage on your truck. Learn how to drive and have some professionalism when dealing with the public. I did not have to file a police report because the damage is less than $2500.00 and your risk department put the blame on me!

This needs to be stated as most reviews are missing guided, this is a leased drop lot for heartland express.The location is within an industrial park that houses several different business. Visitors should be mindful to stop at the bike path, setup for wide turn as street into location is narrow.

Heartland Express , truck number 23347, 2 pm on October 4, 2019. Middle aged balding driver with glasses and moustache Pulled out in front of us while we were passing by exit 245A on hwy 5 in Oregon. We had to pull way over to avoid getting hit. He waited to pull in front of us until we were right on his left wheel well, then he signaled and drove us to the edge. We had my 2 yr old granddaughter in the car, my son and daughter-in-law who were witnesses. We had to slam on the brakes and all of us were severely shaken. I haven’t seen this level of dangerous driving from a trucker in many years.

You don't get many miles, I said that I wanted to work the southwest and all my runs have been in the northwest. My last 2 runs were canceled because when I went to pick them up they weren't ready like they should have been and then the next morning dispatch canceled the loads. This company doesn't seem to care whether your able to pay your Bill's or not.

I hate rocks let me update that yes I do hate rocks rocks that stick to my tires when I leave the yard with 26 Wheels on the ground Within 900 lb of the limit and when I pick up my momentum they start slinging rocks at people behind. just want to let you everybody know I'm not one of those truck driver sit and enjoy that

Good pay. New equipment. Lots of i5 Routes. Shops are clean. Terminals are decent. Tacoma terminal is nicest. Staff is hit and miss.most fleet managers are friendly. Some just suck at there job. Expensive insurance. Paid weekly. Yearly raise and bonus. Very strict on safety. They use peoplenet.reefer pays more. Lots of accounts with big names. So the freight is always there. 10 speed sticks. Limited on automatics. Paychecks never screwed up except 2 times. They fixed immediately. Detention after an hour. Layover 75.00. Same goes with servicing your truck. They pay layover even if it's an hour in the shop. I get 2800 miles weekly. However I'm dedicated. .47 a mile. Western 11 gets about 2000 to 2400 a week in miles. Rarely more. Expect 2300 miles weekly. They pay based off experience. Must have 1 year experience.there good to me. Just wish there insurance was affordable. Rip off

Not really a review as a company because I have never worked for them but their drivers are very inconsiderate on the road. Had a driver a little while ago try to pass me on the right hand side as the lane was about to end in 5ft then hauled pass me doing at least 70. Didn't see the truck number but trailer was 140330. I know the company knows who has this trailer maybe they can address their driving
