I wish there was a minus star...the Bellefonte PA pharmacy, once dependable, has become extremely problematic this year. Not open frequently, pharmacy understaffed, wrong meds, medication not available, open hours constantly changing. A very unstable company. We are now looking for an alternative. (I feel sorry for the staff, who have to face angry customers on a daily basis due to poor management by the company)

Very nice store I can grab prescriptions and baby items along side a drink and snack and I know exactly where things are. Wide open space and nicely laid out.

Terrible pharmacy. They NEVER answer their phones. They talk over you on the phone and don’t even give you the chance to speak. Some of the workers have such negative attitude. They would probably thank me for telling you to Go somewhere else!!!

literally the worst rite aid i’ve ever used and i’ve always supported this chain. 90% of the time the screw stuff up, don’t fill meds until you hassle them, and some of the pharmacist’s are really freaking rude. i’ll be driving 20 mins to state college from now on because i’m over this store.

This is absolutely the worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. You have to call dozens of times to get someone to pick up the phone, and that’s where the trouble truly begins. I’ve been getting my monthly prescriptions here for almost a year now and every single month they manage to not have one of my two medications in stock. They’ll fill the one they have, say nothing about the other, leaving me calling them a dozen times just to request they at least attempt to order the one they didn’t have (as though they thought I wouldn’t notice or didn’t need it??). This time around they took over 5 days to get the medication in stock after once again forcing me to call them dozens of times to even get someone on the line, and when they finally got it in stock today they managed to only order two-thirds of my prescription. After waiting 5 days and being sick of dealing with this sorry excuse for a staff, I took what they had (still paying the full copay) and left. So not only did they fail to fill my prescription in a reasonable time frame, answer the phone, and order the correct amount of a medication I’ve been picking up every 30 days for nearly a year; I will now also have to call my doctor to get another script issued for the remainder of my monthly doses and pay the full copay once again for the other one-third of my prescription. I’ve exclusively dealt with Rite Aid stores on a monthly basis for over 3 years with these medications, and I have NEVER had such an overwhelmingly horrible experience with any others. From now on I’ll be sending my medications to CVS in lieu of giving this horrible store another dime. Do better.

Visited for a flu shot Sunday 11/21 @ 2:30 p.m. Read and understood the sign asking for "PAIENCE & KINDNESS" and fully expected to oblige, realizing everything that's going on, as the sign explained. The gentleman working was VERY CUSTOMER ORIENTED; however, the woman was short, rude and dismissive, telling me and others very curtly there are others ahead and it was going to be at least 30-40 minutes. All others in the waiting area had the same negative experience and opinions. She must have missed the course on CUSTOMER Service and RELATIONSHIPS!!!

I went in there to get my 3rd Covid 19 vaccine the other day and I was 20 minutes early but the pharmacist came out to me 15 minutes after the scheduled time I was supposed to be vaccinated, this was at a slow time on a weekday, too. I was the only person there, too, if they can't get to you when you're the only one there, why should they care if you're not going there again and I'm not.

Worst...made appointment for flu and covid vaccine. Nobody in front of me in the line....it's an hour past my appointment and still don't have my shots. It's dead in hear...why can't I get vaccinated?

Took my daughter for her Covid vaccine. The staff was rude, and unprepared. The pharmacist was over the top rude, screaming my daughter’s name, while she was still filling out paperwork. If your pharmacist can be polite to your regular customers, then she can also be polite to my daughter! Unbelievably rude. Would never come back to this Rite Aid.
