Staff are usually speedy when dropping off or picking up packages. Overall a convenient transaction even during peak times.

There delivery service So sick of paying obscene amounts of money for expedited next day shipping to find out my package is coming though usps, just to wait for the driver to wave at me while passing then get a notice of how they missed me or was unable to deliver. They should have to pay back expedited shipping costs for drivers that are too lazy to get out of thier vehicles. Called and complained once, on my next package the driver actually left my package on the road in the rain. I would actually (and have) pay more to have something shipped through an alternative carrier, if I had an option to choose a delivery method with online purchases. I would lose my job if I ever did stuff like that

Possibly the worst post office in the state. My street has a mail lady so lazy that i only get mail 2 times a week as she doesnt want to walk up steps. Complaints to the office managers must go right in the garbage as she still works my street even after complaints from myself and ny neighbors. Ive had to pick up more packages at the office than they actually deliver due to it. Some items they mark as refused to accept so they dont even have to make the fake delivery attempt. So as a final conclusion, if you want to be massively overpaid and have a job where you do not have to actually work and are unfireable for some reason, the usps is top notch. If you want mail and packages, try some other method. Future edit: Wish i could go below one star. Just had a package that was supposed to be delivered today (8/20/18) and the geniuses had it sent to the other post office in east butler. Now i have no idea where it actually is, as it is most certainly not at my house. Apparently they have devolved into illiteracy as well. Second edit: Got a package today (10/9/18) that was partially destroyed. Was delivered in a bag that proudly stated "We Care" on it apolgizing while making excuses. Don't really see the care there. Third edit: it's mid December 2021, and guess what folks? They are still awful.

We don't even know what to do got off work had 3 packages that said delivered to parcel.Went to my p.o. box that we pay for had a key our packages weren't in the parcel someone's false teeth were there instead so hopefully nobody got our packages instead.We dropped the box with the false teeth back into the blue box. We will be up there first thing Monday and hopefully no one else took our packages or else we don't know what to do but that'll be over a $100 loss and we won't renew our p.o. box and will start shipping using a different company.

Package tracking said out for delivery around 6:30 this morning then at 3:20 this afternoon the tracking said it just arrived at the post office and is ready for pickup. I paid $9.99 shipping to have it DELIVERED to me. What's worse is I live 5 minutes or less from the post office but the tracking wasn't updated until after they were closed and I know that because I was still keeping an eye on my tracking info even after the mail delivery person had come and gone and it said expected delivery by 6:30pm. Otherwise I could've picked it up today before close!! The tracking doesn't even say "attempted delivery" I'm hoping this is not a consistent issue with your post office but judging from other people's reviews it seems to be.

My carrier keeps saying my house/driveway are not accessible for package delivery. Saturday I was supposed to get two packages - one from Amazon and another from a different vendor. The Amazon package was hung on the outside of my mailbox and I did not receive the other package because my "driveway was in accessible". Why didn't they put both on the mailbox in the same bag?! Actually, the second one would have fit IN the mailbox. Horrible service. I've called several times and I still get the same result. Packages and sometimes even the mail not delivered for days. Another carrier told me that our house has been changed to the end of the route and the regular carrier is slow. They have to be off the road by 7PM so they will say your house was not accessible if they just run out of time for delivery. WHAT?! What time do these folks start that they can't get done by 7PM? Are the routes too big? Are they having trouble finding carriers? Butler Post Office needs some serious upgrading.

Confirmed by IRS my address was correct on my stim. Mailman still delivered to wrong address. Had to have check reissued. We shall see if it ever comes. I complained before. Now here we are missing stim- missing court mail. Court confirmed they sent to my address oct 1st it is now the 16th no mail!? This place is fully of lazy workers who do not care for your mails safety . I’ll check back in IF I ever get that mail.

Update 10/26/19. Exactly the same thing happened. No sign of the mail vehicle . Never pulled in the driveway. Never attempted contact. I can't give them a less than 1 so it remains at 1 star. I had a package that arrived at the Butler, PA post office at 6am. It was an amazon package so is was still to be delivered even though it was Sunday. Account continued to say will be delivered today by 8pm. Package never marked our for delivery. About an hour after we watched the mail truck drive past our house (about 1:30 pm), I received an update that the package was undeliverable because of access issues to my house. I have a nice big driveway, plenty of clear steps to the door, a decent mailbox, and my dogs are penned in the back yard. If you're going to be lazy and not do your job don't try to blame it on BS like that. Own up to it. I know you're just trying to save face because it was an amazon package but come on, we watched the delivery truck drive past and never even attempted to stop.

Very disappointed with this place. Manager said that the carriers don't have to deliver our mail if they don't feel safe. It's either one of 2 things they are scared of our dog which he has every right to protect his house after the one mailman pepper sprayed my pup in the face, or they are racist. Anyways if they set a schedule of delivering mail our dog will be inside when they come but our dog can't be locked up inside all day.
