May 29th: I got a long layered cut and she really botched my bangs… she cut them straight across and is two inches higher then my regular hair. It looks like a flight of stairs. I’m VERY frustrated Service: Haircut

This dive opened at 9am. I've been here before with no problem. I'm standing out there since 830 to be first to get the hell out of there. They open the doors at 9 am and the first question they ask me is do you have an appointment No? Come back at 12. Are you kidding me? No sign on chain by appointment only and big sign WALK INS WELCOME! What a joke! I only come here because they're cheap. Ridiculous!!!

I went in about a month ago for a retouch of my roots. My stylist Sabrina, was very professional and did everything I asked that I wanted done. I have really thick hair and its wavy, Sabrina knows how to work well with my hair and knows exactly what it need. She also provided much tlc to it because my hair runs on the dry side. Beside my color, she also did my eyebrows..... And let me just say my eyebrows are on fleek. I highly recommed using her as your stylist, because she will provide you with everything you ask for and even more! She also was very knowledgeable about what products to use with my type of hair, and when to do what with it!!!! Sabrina is the stylist you want. You will never have to look again for another! Services: Hair coloring, Haircut, Hairstyling, Curly hair

Ladies, do not go here to have your hair cut unless you want to be missing 6 INCHES OF YOUR HAIR. I had hair that was long enough to donate, so I went in to have it cut. Upon entry I was hesitant to proceed because it looked like a child was manning the desk. I proceeded anyways because my hair almost reached my waist and I needed it cut. I wanted 12 inches cut and she ended up cutting closer to 18! Seeing as though I have a lot of hair I thought it would be rather to mess up my two simple requests. 1. I want the hair to be at my chest. 2. I want to be able to wear it in a long ponytail. Your stylist messed this up so greatly that now I can do neither. My hair was cut ABOVE MY SHOULDERS and it's crooked! When I mentioned it being crooked the stylist suggested I tuck my hair behind my ears and then it would be straight. I do not understand how you mess it up that badly. It is going to take months for my hair to grow out now and I'm going to have to pay for an additional cut elsewhere for it to be fixed. I will never go to this location ever again. I feel like I should be reimbursed for the haircut and given money to fix this awful cut. Service: Haircut

I was waited at reception for two minutes then stepped future in so hopefully I've been recognized. Luckily between non-related heavy discussions they spotted me.. . sweet. I was desperate for a hair cut hence the stop over.. but never again! I was serviced with a not so skinny blue colored lady with a CLIPPER and it took less than my waiting around to be spotted, not kidding 3 whole minutes, all the body rubbing was very uncomfortable so at least that was over! I don't have high standards I am a man but when hair sticking out here and there and over my ears trimmed asymmetrically each side, now that's a bit low for $21 plus tip (paid $25). Sorry I couldn't give zero star. Service: Haircut

My hair has been making me feel so disgusting lately and I needed a change. I believe the woman who did my hair was Heather, and oh my god I love her. She made me feel welcomed and made me feel so comfortable and explained to me the process of doing my hair. It was so much fun and even if it was a long process, I left almost wanting to cry. They really helped me out. People would expect a hair salon in Walmart to be cheesy, but they are complete professionals. Thank you so much ❤️ Service: Hair coloring

I had Megan do my hair. She told me she'd been doing hair for 15 years and knew how to do curly hair. She cut my hair wet, and uneven. I asked for my hair to just be even with layers. Instead I had INCHES taken off. She told me she wouldn't cut much off and took off INCHES . The left side of my head is now significantly longer than the right and a lot shorter than I wanted. I didn't even realize how uneven it was until my hair dried. My hair is now too short to cut to fix (without cutting it all off). Megan wasn't a rude person, just not experienced enough cut curly hair and was not honest about it. I do not recommend coming here if you have any sort of texture or curl to your hair. The manager Heather gave me a refund (I tipped in cash so had to bite the bullet there) and apologized a day later.

I have been to 2 other salons in the past year and both of those places went against what I wanted and did their own thing, making my hair uneven and looking like a hot mess. When I arrived at SmartSyles, they did have a few people in there but I only waited about 2 minutes before Amy took me back. She was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! She listened to what I wanted done and did everything EXACTLY the way I wanted it. She didnt do anything without asking me and even made suggestions but never forced anything on me. What really took me by surprise was when she ASKED ME if she could put a product in my hair to help with the frizzy parts instead of just putting it on my hair like most other places would do. And she never tried to sell me anything. She was very honest about how much my cut would cost and wanted to make sure that I was aware of the price. I can not say enough great things about this place and about Amy. They will definitely be seeing me back in September.
