Top notch from start to finish. This is my second dealing with Bates collision since mid October 2021. They’ve done an excellent job for me on both occasions. My first car was totaled but they handled everything, my second car needed repairs to the front end and they did a fabulous job making the repairs. It was the smoothest process I've ever had from a repair shop, Bates Collision did the job well and went above and beyond in being courteous and communicative about my repairs after my accident! Dave arranged for a rental car for me, and it was there waiting as soon as I brought in my car. Dave worked with the insurance companies directly and so that I didn't have to. He made it so easy for me! Other collision shops don't do this - I had a previous accident in Virginia where I arranged my own rental car and talked to my own insurance company many times and it was a hassle, so Bates really went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations! Dave explained to me the estimate which clearly showed the price of parts vs. labor, and the amount the customer pays vs. insurance pays (in my case, insurance paid for everything). Everything was crystal clear, and I appreciate the visibility into all the charges. Dave also emailed me with an updated estimate along the way and updates to let me know the repairs were still on track, which I really appreciated. Again, other collision shops don't do this, so it was really nice that Bates was proactive and called/emailed me. I was truly in good hands at Bates Collision and didn't need to worry about a thing. The repairs were of high quality and they also did a courtesy cleaning of the interior which I really appreciated. I am very happy with the repairs and the customer service. I highly recommend!

Horrible . On first pickup car was missing parts , headlight tabs were broken , hood misaligned ,on second pickup hood is still misaligned and had swirl marks all over it , does not seal properly and flutters when driven . A rubber seal is ripped , and upon doing an oil change I had a metal clip that a screw goes into just sitting on the oil change cover . I was told by 2 of my coworkers to not have them do the work , I should have listened . The building looks amazing , it’s hard to imagine such a professional looking place does such shoddy work . Another area of concern is upon doing an alignment check ( which was way out ) I see that the rf camber is out . On this vehicle it’s not adjustable, and with only 4K on the odometer when the accident occurred im apt to believe that was caused by the accident and overlooked. The struts are Deff not worn out . If you go here you will be very disappointed…… Service: Body & Trim

Wouldn’t have wanted to have any other place repair my vehicle. I really enjoyed getting notifications about where my car is in the repair process and appreciated it when you they me know that there was a back order on my parts. And the final product… wow!
