Excellent Asian store with a friendly, helpful, enthusiastic proprietor. What a sweet lady!

Small, but well stocked store with Asian cuisine essentials. Very kind shopkeep, cash only.

My favorite place ever! They have so many options and she is so so friendly. Be careful though they are cash-only! I would recommend this market to anyone. It is so clean.

Cute little market. Cash only. Was able to get my rice wrappers. Great if you just need a sauce or some Asian snacks. Service was impeccable.

I've been making regular visits for the frozen tteokbokki kit. Great substitute when you don't have the time to go into the city to find a Korean restaurant. The kimchi is delicious too, based on the packaging I think it might be made by the owner?

Very small, not much selection, almost no produce, VERY expensive. Giant Eagle has better selection and better prices. If you want a reasonably priced Asian grocery store with great selection, try Panda Supermarket in Squirrel Hill or Oriental Market on McKnight. This place isn't worth it. The cashier was lovely at least, and the place was clean - if that wasn't the case it would be one star.

It's a very cute store. It is a small Ma and Pa sized shop, so no, it won't have every product and the kitchen sink. But- every shelf is orderly and neat. You aren't tripping over boxes and your eyes aren't overwhelmed by the amount of needless choices- as can happen in other Asian marts. The layout makes it easy to see if the store has the product you're looking for. I was pleasantly surprised to see products I couldn't find in the Asian marts of the Strip district. There is an obvious pride about the place and the owner is a gracious lady. I intend to visit again the next time I find myself in Monroeville. As a precaution, the store was cash-only. I don't know if that's a permanent decision or not, but you might want to have some cash on hand just in case.

There are good things crammed into this tiny market. I was looking for mooncakes and I was pleasantly surprised that they had them. I also bought some amazing frozen spring rolls... the best I have ever had from the freezer and not a restaurant. The owner is very nice and helpful too.

I love this shop. If you are an Asian food lover like my family and I. This is the place to get what you need. The prices are very good, and the fresh Ramen noodles they sell are so good. I bought some red-bean paste Mochi, and I was in love. They are very friendly, and it is a very peaceful place to shop. I was finally able to buy fresh made rice cakes, which my girls love. Definitely go check them out.

I was pretty excited to try this place after reading so many positive reviews on here. I was looking for basic sushi ingredients (nori and short-grain rice). The woman working there was very friendly, but the prices were significantly higher than Giant Eagle (same brands, same products) and half of the store is empty and blocked off. The selection is so small and the prices are so high, I truly don't understand all the rave reviews.
